We’ll Definitely Be Back! Generous and welcoming. Went to lunch at Mambo Café and were seriously impressed. The menu was enormous—so many great options it was hard to choose. We settled on a simple Margherita pizza and some pork spare ribs, both were excellent. Ribs came with a fresh, generous salad—not just a token side but a proper mix of fresh lettuce (not iceberg but mesclun), tomatoes, olives, onions and cucumber. Everything was super fresh, and the portions were absolutely massive. “Substantial” doesn’t begin to cover it. Generous was the word that sprang to mind. One of the highlights was the chili selection. When they found out we liked chili, they went above and beyond—bringing out fresh chili, something they called Chili oil (delicious!), two types of chili sauce, and even dried chili—just in case. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Pleased we were eating in a restaurant that had bathrooms in the restaurant, too many times in a shopping centre they send yo off to find the centre toilets. The generosity stood out—not just in portion size but in the service and attitude. It really felt like nothing was too much trouble. A warm, welcoming spot with seriously good food. We’ll definitely be back!

Went there with a group of 9 for dinner. Service was a bit slow and had to be flagged down but it wasn't that big of a deal. There's SOOO MANY menu items. At least over 100. According to Gordon Ramsey, if a restaurant has that many items, the quality is usually trash. Surprisingly (with that in mind) it wasn't. I enjoyed the the garlic prawns however the rice wasn't good. It had the consistency of being left in a rice cooker for too long and was hard and stuck together. The garlic prawns were good with plenty on a plate. I was disappointed with the side salad though as it contained olives WHICH I HATE but they didn't know that. My boyfriend had the steak with mushroom gravy which was actually great. Good price, awesome size and cooked great. We also had the spring rolls which I thought were pretty good stuffed with crab. I had one long Island ice tea though which wasn't very strong. Tasted more like sweet tea and watered down but again, wasn't there to get drunk. I would go again though cause the price isn't bad and seeing as they have so many menu items I wouldn't mind trying a few more. I also noticed they have a lot of drink deals throughout the week which would be cute to go too.

The service was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, even checking up to see how the food was after. The food was fine but the veggies weren't cooked all the way through, the Parma was good, the Garlic bread was just a standard loaf one could buy from the supermarket for $3 but here, it cost around $14 and with a bit of cheese. The 4 stars I have provided is based on the over reach of the pricing, it's expensive... $5 for a coke glass is outrageous, that's just taking a piss. The parmas, pasta and especially the small pizza was expensive too, more than words could describe. Your restaurant now competes with the likes of Rashay's but they're cheaper and they provide the same or superior offering in many areas that matter. If I were to suggest a more competitive Mambos, I'd suggest a post-mix soft drink machine (like what you find at HJ), Rashay's has one and they provide free refills and that's a big draw card for people like me. Cheaper pricing would also go a long away, even if you had lunch and dinner pricing, because I noticed not many people during lunch... A cheaper menu might change that.

Went to sunshine village to watch a movie and decided to eat breakfast at mambos. And dont get me wrong. I LOVE mambos lunch menu but the breakfast menu or items need a huge overhall.

So I ordered the bacon and eggs with toast. Toast is the keyword cause when the meal came out and I had two thick toasted slices of a baguette with a side of margarine, about 4 bacon rashers and 2 sunny side eggs. I could of tolerated the baguette and bacon but what put me off was the overcooked sunny side eggs. I love eggs but I love eggs to a degree and when its overcooked and has that pungent egg smell it just puts me off my food. I called the waiter and asked if he can make 2 more sunny side eggs politely and he was ok with it and advised how I would like it. And I asked him if he can ask the chef if he can undercook the bottom a bit more cause the bottom has burnt marks. My 2 new eggs come and it was the same thing as before. My heart sank cause I never send away breakfast ever my wife knows this my friends knows this. So I couldn't finish my meal and put it one side. The waiter was kind enough to offer me alternatives but I couldn't stomach anything after that and they took the meal off the bill.

Me and my wife have been coming to mambos since we first started dating and we always had lunch there. I recommend the mambo chicken burger. But today I wanted to try something new and was let down immensely. If I can offer some criticism for bacon and eggs with toast it should be the following. 3 bacon rashers, 2 thick cut slices of fresh bread, a side of real butter and 2 slightly under cooked sunny side eggs. That was my experience with a friend I recommended to try mambos today with. Hopefully the team at mambos tastes their breakfast menu and make sure they have a consensus of what is in a "bacon & eggs w/...
