Went there with a group of 9 for dinner. Service was a bit slow and had to be flagged down but it wasn't that big of a deal. There's SOOO MANY menu items. At least over 100. According to Gordon Ramsey, if a restaurant has that many items, the quality is usually trash. Surprisingly (with that in mind) it wasn't. I enjoyed the the garlic prawns however the rice wasn't good. It had the consistency of being left in a rice cooker for too long and was hard and stuck together. The garlic prawns were good with plenty on a plate. I was disappointed with the side salad though as it contained olives WHICH I HATE but they didn't know that. My boyfriend had the steak with mushroom gravy which was actually great. Good price, awesome size and cooked great. We also had the spring rolls which I thought were pretty good stuffed with crab. I had one long Island ice tea though which wasn't very strong. Tasted more like sweet tea and watered down but again, wasn't there to get drunk. I would go again though cause the price isn't bad and seeing as they have so many menu items I wouldn't mind trying a few more. I also noticed they have a lot of drink deals throughout the week which would be cute to go too.

The service was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, even checking up to see how the food was after. The food was fine but the veggies weren't cooked all the way through, the Parma was good, the Garlic bread was just a standard loaf one could buy from the supermarket for $3 but here, it cost around $14 and with a bit of cheese. The 4 stars I have provided is based on the over reach of the pricing, it's expensive... $5 for a coke glass is outrageous, that's just taking a piss. The parmas, pasta and especially the small pizza was expensive too, more than words could describe. Your restaurant now competes with the likes of Rashay's but they're cheaper and they provide the same or superior offering in many areas that matter. If I were to suggest a more competitive Mambos, I'd suggest a post-mix soft drink machine (like what you find at HJ), Rashay's has one and they provide free refills and that's a big draw card for people like me. Cheaper pricing would also go a long away, even if you had lunch and dinner pricing, because I noticed not many people during lunch... A cheaper menu might change that.

This place is gold! Environment and people and just the enjoyable setting is great! Food is always consistent and at its quality best so far. I been to some resteraunts on eastern side of town and at the same price their quality isn't as good as here at Mambos. I suppose they survived for a very long time, which speaks volumes. So I can guess customers are very satisfied with their service. Pizza, pasta and the chips are good. The cost is pricey, but you get what you pay for. And for me, it was not a let down. A good place to hang around with good ol friends and family. Very satisfied.

We were pleasantly surprised with the food here. We didn't go in with high expectations, as we were simply getting dinner before catching a movie. I think this might become a bit of a ritual for us now though! The sauces on our chicken dishes were rich in flavour and everything was presented and cooked well. The restaurant also does something that many seem to be lacking these days; awesome portion sizes! Our drinks were also fantastic. I definitely recommend the Biscoff shake. Can't wait to come back and try the burgers!

Went to Mambo for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The food was good and very large servings. The service was excellent too. The chips were well above average and they also did a good raspberry spider. The pollo e avocado was very nice too and they provided parmesan cheese. The chicken burger was excellent and very large, and the bangers and mash were good too. Would certainly go again, but may order the entree size instead of main.
