Chingu Kbbq is an absolute gem that has recently graced our local dining scene, and let me tell you, it is a true hidden treasure that is destined to become a sensation! From the moment I stepped into this delightful restaurant, I was greeted with impeccable service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Upon my visit, I had the pleasure of experiencing the remarkable service provided by the friendly and attentive staff. The girl who was cooking our meal went above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable dining experience. Not only did she skillfully prepare the most tantalizing array of meats, but she also engaged in friendly conversations, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. It truly felt like dining with a dear friend who genuinely cared about our satisfaction.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food! Chingu Kbbq delivered an explosion of flavors that left my taste buds dancing with joy. Every bite was a delightful symphony of perfectly marinated meats, grilled to perfection. The assortment of banchan, those delectable side dishes, complemented the meats beautifully and added a delightful variety of flavors and textures to the meal. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs.

One aspect that pleasantly surprised me was the reasonable pricing of the menu. Chingu Kbbq offers an exceptional value for the quality and quantity of food they serve. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that not only provides an outstanding dining experience but also keeps affordability in mind. With such reasonable prices, this place is a true haven for both casual get-togethers and special occasions.

Chingu Kbbq has the potential to become a sensation in our community, and I have no doubt that it will grow in popularity. The combination of outstanding service, mouthwatering food, and affordable prices is a winning formula that will have people flocking to their doors. This local gem has all the ingredients for success, and I couldn't be more excited to see the word spread about this remarkable establishment.

In conclusion, if you're searching for an extraordinary Korean barbecue experience, look no further than Chingu Kbbq. Their impeccable service, delicious food, and affordable prices make for an unforgettable dining adventure. Trust me when I say that this place is destined for greatness and it won't be long before it becomes the talk of the town. Visit Chingu Kbbq today and be prepared to be blown away by an experience that will leave you...

Ordered a spicy cold noodles for $20 based on the image in the menu. When the dish arrived, we noticed that there was no meat unlike the image shown. When we questioned the waitress about it, she said that the dish was served without meat. When I showed her the image on the menu, she referred me to another staff member.

The second staff member asked how he could helped me leading me to repeat my issue that I had just explained to the waitress. He then explained that they used to have meat served with the dish, didn't have any right now, but will be serving it again with meat in the future. I responded that was all well from their end but it doesn't quite resolve the lack of meat in my dish at the moment.

He then provided an anecdotal explanation that most customers usually order the cold noodles dish together with their bbq order and would use the meat from the bbq so didn't usually ask about the meat.

Again I reiterated that that's all good from their end but did not quite resolve the lack of meat in my dish. He again protested that they didn't have any suitable meat for the dish to provide. I then queried if they had any bbq meat that he had suggested that other customers ate with the cold noodles. He confirmed that they did. I then queried if it was possible for them to provide that bbq meat instead. He then agreed to.

While the broth of the cold noodles was quite good and the noodles were typically chewy, I personally find it distasteful that a restaurant would serve a dish without a major ingredient that it had advertised, hope that the customer doesn't notice, attempt to deflect when questioned about it and then begrudgingly provide a solution that the customer has to propose.

Add to that the slightly higher prices than the many Korean restaurants in the city and it makes me reluctant to recommend or return to...

This review is from 16/6/2023.

The atmosphere of the place was serene with beautiful autumn colours and displays of Korean words and culture which I enjoyed. Inside the tables are set up on the outer edges of the room so there’s walking space in the middle along with two tables outside the restaurant for outdoor dining.

However, with it being my first experience at Chingu, I did wish that it was a better experience. My friend and I spent a few minutes waiting for the menu after we sat outside and once an order was made the service wasn’t sure which table we sat out of those two tables, I got the drink but I didn’t get my food (Bibimbap). I waited for 35-40 minutes with no answer so we went and inquired about the meal with a bit of miscommunication from my friend to the service. I soon found out that the food order didn’t come through and that the chef voided the order due to the table mishap. I told the management that I understood the pressure with this being their first week but being seated outside and not commonly checked after didn’t make me feel respected as a customer.

They allowed the drink to be free and allowed me to move inside once tables were free and apologetically made my meal and it came all in a span of 10 minutes. The meal was heated nicely and tasted well, I do wish they supplied the chilli sauce on the side. Edit: I have been back two times ever since the first and the service has improved significantly. Hope it goes well from there. I will adjust the stars from this post.

Original Post: 2 star review They were apologetic and took accountability for the mishap. I happily paid for the meal as my show of empathy and support.

I will come again to try their other meals but I do hope the service improves overtime and wish them all the best...
