Wally Tew Reserve Playground — Attraction in Melbourne

This park has everything you could want in a playground and more. The park is equipped with various climbing structures, swings, and even a flying fox for the adventurous types.

For those who prefer a more relaxed activity, there is a big oval nearby where you can bring a ball and kick it around. The playground is also fenced off, making it a safe place for children to play.

If you need to take a break or use the restroom, there are toilets nearby. Additionally, if you need any picnic supplies, there is a major grocery shop just a short walking distance away. If you're feeling hungry or thirsty, there are also several cafes and eateries located just a short walk from the grocery store.

Overall, the kids had great experience at this park and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and family-friendly...

Great park and play space. Well suited for toddlers and young kids. Lots of space, well spread out, sitting spaces are well sheltered and/or under tree shade. good toilet facilities, water fountain, barbecue ( could have 2-3 more barbecues though). The slides and see-saw are quite unique. two pairs of swings. The single zip-line is good one, lots of fun. Has a liberty swing for the wheel-chair bound. Lots of parking. One of the many great green spaces in the Knox region. Well maintained. Except, the water fountain present inside the play space does not have enough pressure to be used. A fantastic place to walk your dog with plenty of seating alone the way to rest as you go. Well kept oval for all types of sports and not to for get the Knox festival which is held here every year. I've give minus one star because the toilets are not open for when you need them especially if you are elderly or on medication and need to go regulating, and the minus second star is because if all the noxious weeds growing along the walk ways near Woolworths. Especially the wandering Jew as it is not onky classed as a noxious weed but alot of animals especially dogs are highly allergic to it causing them to scratch & bite themselves...
