I haven't even finished my dinner and i am already leaving a review.

First of all, to those people leaving bad reviews due to Ubereats or Menulog being late, you obviously lack common sense and brain cells. Those two delivery services are not the responsibility of this restaurant. If you don't want delivery issues, GO AND PICK YOUR ORDER UP YOU LAZY PEOPLE.

I must have gotten lucky, my Ubereats driver picked mine up and drove straight here (i don't whinge about late deliveries).

My food was PIPING hot still. But, enough about delivery services.

I tried my chicken gozleme first...... absolutely delicious. Bread was soft still, and chicken was packed with flavor. You ain't getting a tiny serve, you get 16 pieces of 3" x 3". Not a little fairy serve. This made me very happy (i had read good reviews before ordering), but then i tried my kebab (original with cheese and extra meat).

Probably one of the best kebabs i have had in a long, long time. Excellent ratios of all fillings, and slightly toasted as well which i like.

I used to live in Ferntree Gully (for 15 years), and Kebab Thyme wasn't there, and it's a shame, because i would have had my "go to" kebab place. I am house sitting in FTG currently and live in Heathmont, but i will easily travel to FTG for another order like this.

Kebab Thyme is my absolute go-to spot whenever I’m craving a delicious and satisfying Middle Eastern meal. Tucked away but always bustling with locals who know just how good the food is, it’s no surprise this place is almost always busy — and for all the right reasons.

Their Gozleme and falafels are consistently top-notch — fresh, flavourful, and made with care. The falafels are crisp on the outside, soft and fragrant inside, and the Gozleme is generously filled and perfectly golden. Their selection of dips is another highlight — creamy, tangy, and full of bold flavour, they pair beautifully with just about anything on the menu.

One of the newest and most welcome additions is their fresh orange juice machine, which pumps out some of the freshest, most refreshing juice you’ll find. It’s a perfect accompaniment to your meal and is also packed up neatly if you’re grabbing takeaway.

Speaking of takeaway — they’re usually very busy, especially during peak times, so I highly recommend giving them a call in advance. The friendly staff will take your order over the phone, give you an estimated prep time, and have it ready for pickup — saving you the wait and helping them manage their orders more efficiently.

We always get the large HSP to-go from Kebab Thyme - especially during the Melbourne lockdowns or when we crave a late night snack. Simply the best value ($22 for a large HSP that can easily be shared between 2) and most tender meat! Never had a dry HSP or kebab from here.

We usually opt for cheese when we get the HSP, makes it so much tastier. And i’m not sure what they do to their chips but it’s never dry or “powdery” on the inside. I would recommend the chilli sauce instead of the sweet chilli for a good “kick”.

Tried the Gozleme in store the other night and it was amazing! Lamb was very tasty and soft, and it was absolutely bursting with mozzarella cheese. We opted for the Eggplant dip and it could not have been a better pair! The flatbread is so soft and fluffy too. Can’t wait to try more!

We have also had a couple of different kebab wraps and they are great.

Waited around 15 minutes for our food, service wasn’t too bad.
