We love it. Every time we’re in the area we always go for dinner. But be prepared to wait. Wether there is 4 people or 10 people your still waiting an hour. What I wasn’t happy with is because we had 9 people and all meals come out at once some of the stones got cold. So I couldn’t cook my left over prawns on my stone. Waitress asked if I wanted another stone but it was too late. Also we didn’t order entree’s but people who did order entrees and came in after us got their entrees before we got our mains. It’s a great experience and we love it. There is so much food so entrees aren’t needed. We did order entrees for main meals as I wanted prawns but I don’t eat salmon. Looking at the open kitchen, I wasn't expecting a lot as it looked like they were mass producing all the food for the bistro, and the other two restaurants on the premises. The salmon was surprisingly good, perfectly cooked and hot. The chips were a little soggy as if it was done about 10 minutes ago, and the vegetables (carrots and beans) tasted like from the supermarket frozen department. What kind of restaurant charges full price for meals where you have to cook it yourself...
The scollops with preciutto were prepared poorly. The Preciutto was double wrapped and was wrapped around the flat side of the scollop. So searing it to cook it through was tough.
As for the steak, I got questioned when I asked for an extra plate to allow my steak to rest. All meat should be rested following cooking... If you're going to label yourself as a quality steak house staff need to be trained accordingly.
