Capricorn Motor Inn — Hotel in Mulwala

I received an incredibly warm welcome from Kerrie when I arrived at the Capricorn Motor Inn. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The shower is AHmazing! It is just a few steps to the pool (unfortunately, it was a little cool for me to go for a swim when I stayed) and you can see Lake Mulwala which is just across the road. Club Mulwala is a short walk next door for a delicious meal (and sometimes a bit of entertainment) and the motel is also quite close to the bridge if you feel like going for a walk into Yarrawonga. One of the worst motels I’ve ever stayed at. I paid for 2 nights for a deluxe double room, well the tv in the room didn’t work. Bathroom was dirty, told receptionist and she moved me to another, my god that was worse, bathroom dirty, large burn marks on each bedside table covered up by lamps. Terrible water pressure. Noisy old air conditioner. I left motel next day, couldn’t stand to stay another night. Certainly won’t be returning. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.
