Warners Bay Foreshore is a beautiful and popular spot located in the Lake Macquarie region. It offers a scenic walking and cycling path, several playgrounds and picnic areas, cafes and restaurants, and a range of water sports activities. It's a great spot for families, couples, and solo travelers to enjoy the beauty of Lake Macquarie. Whether you want to see a beautiful sunrise or a pleasant sunset warner’s bay foreshore is the place to be.

Well-maintained parks, pedestrian lights to cross, clean toilets, a few seating options, bike and walking path popular with kids and adults. Sculptures. Sandstone edging to sit on as well as park benches. Not enough shade in busy times. Kids can throw rocks into the lake. Jetty / pier. Opposite cafes and restaurants. Biggest parking area is behind the restaurant strip.

I along with my wife and 6 years old daughter went to Warnes Bay a few days ago for a day! We really enjoyed the atmosphere especially the sunset over the lake! Our daughter ran around the lake banks collecting seashells and interacting with local children. Then, we ended up at a ice cream parlor on the lake front before returning to Sydney. Lovely place 🩷

This area was revamped years ago and is a great place for many reasons: Great pathways to the Mud Hole and Speers Point Park, following the beautiful Lake Macquarie waterway. Shared pathway clearly marked for walkers, cyclists/skaters/scooters. Large area on cement/grass with table & chairs, seats, and a tiered small wall along part of the waterfront to sit on. 2 areas have roofs. Even wooden 'loungechairs'. Pier, for walking on, fishing off & boats to tie off. You would need to be careful when jumping in the water here as this area is shallow & usually lots of weeds. Public toilets. Wheelchair accessible for all areas. Parking along the street as well as offroad car parks. Opposite shops and cafes, so plenty of choices for food, drinks & ice creams. Trees to sit under to give shade. As usual around salt water, be aware if you have food you are going to attract seagulls 😀 They hold concerts, markets & boat racing along the foreshore. 1 of many great places around Lake Mac waterway. Great place for families, friends and...

Good place to park up and do walks. One can head towards Speers Point for about a 6km return, or towards Eleebana for about 5kms return. The Eleebana side has exercise stations set up for those who want to add an extra workout to their walks. The pathway is good, shared with joggers and cyclists.

The Foreshore also has plenty of picnic tables, seating, a good amenities block, and a rotunda for music etc. Needless to say the views are very pretty over the lake and out to the Watagan Ranges. An excellent place to bring your family.

Also, next to the Foreshore is the Warners Bay shopping area. The park facing side has a large number of coffeehouses and restaurants, and also a pub...

Beautiful views and a great place for any event. Very popular with school formals, photoshoots, live performances, community events and sometimes markets. Every now and then they have music on the lake, which features local and popular artists playing a wide selection of music under the rotunda. Music on the lake attracts many visitors every performance. With the new renovations the foreshore is a modern, functional, and family-friendly area. The paths have been re done, the under cover seating had been upgraded and the toilets refurbished. All in all a great venue for...
