Pacific Seafood Warners Bay — Local services in Newcastle-Maitland

So disappointed. My mother and I have been regulars to Pacific Seafood Warners Bay, often calling in for a takeaway lunch after our numerous medical appointments at the John Hunter Hospital or the Calvary Mater Hospital. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of calling in later in the day. All the seafood was pre cooked and sitting in the warmer including a mountain of yellow chips. I wished I'd walked away but mumand I were craving our usually delicious and freshly cooked fish and chips, so I bought our usual. We stopped by the lake to eat our food. Over $45 later, the seagulls got a great feed that evening. The calamari was dried out and tough, the cocktail fish tasted off and the chips tasted like wood chips. Sorry to say, it's too much money to waste on awful food.= and you have lost two customers who often buy extra to take home. May I suggest that you only keep little amounts of pre cooked food in your warmers and go to the effort of cooking...

This is the second time we’ve bought from here. Both times the ‘fresh’ prawns have clearly been frozen despite my asking about this in store. Both times the prawns had zero flavour. It was a huge waste of money as we ended up feeding it to our dogs. When I rang to talk to somebody about it, no one would answer the phone, despite several attempts. If I could give zero stars I would. I will never buy from this...

I have been several times only for the fresh uncooked seafood and I have not been disappointed. I have had everything they offer and can vouch that the seafood is definitely fresh, no issues at all so far. Friendly staff. All was purchased and cooked...
