Esplanade Kebabs & Crepes — Local services in Newcastle-Maitland

We bought a variety of kebabs which were delicious and fresh and they were the neatest wrapped kebabs I've ever had! They add a plastic bag cover at the bottom of the kebab which stops juices flowing down your hands and when your done you just fold all of the foil etc and dirty napkin into it and throw it away. Im from Sydney and no one down here does that, wish they would! Only downside was they needed a proper bin, there was just a box on the floor next to the table. Great view aswell of the lake and parking was easy to get close...

I recently visited kebab and was thoroughly disappointed with both the service and the staff’s attitude. While the kebabs themselves were decent, the overall experience was poor by the unprofessional behaviour of the staff. The male staff was sarcastic and when taking orders and seemed annoyed by any requests for modifications. This poor customer service overshadowed the food quality and made the visit quite unpleasant. A local favourite. Only a few things on the menu here that i haven't tried, that's because the usual selections for me are always consistent, tasty and freshly cooked. The guys here are always friendly, love to have a laugh and are always smiling. I've eaten here for quite some time and will continue to.
