Our experience here tonight was completely ruined by the service from the staff. We had a group of 5 of us and would’ve spent between $400-$500 between us. Initially we ordered drinks from a server that came to our table. And then we were told it would be quicker and easier to order at the bar so we ordered food and drinks from the bar. 4 of us ordered meals, only 3 came out. After a while we asked to get a refund for the missing meal as the rest of us had eaten. We had 4 staff members standing around the cash register not knowing how to refund back onto a card. One of the staff members told us, because we had ordered both at the bar and from our table it was confusing for them. We told them it was their staff that told us to order from different locations. Why make this our problem just apologise and move on? We are reasonable people. They made it seem like it was our fault that they messed up. And then there was one glass of wine that hadn’t been paid for on our table when it came time to leave. Not only did they make us pay for this drink after the ordeal that happened around our missing meal and the refund, but also tried to overcharge us for the wrong drink. I told the blonde female staff member that honestly the service has been ridiculous. She tried to argue with me saying “it was just a mistake”. I told her I understand a one or two mistakes however, this has been ridiculous, and to make us pay for one drink after all the drama around the food was also ridiculous. It honestly seemed no one new what the heck they were doing, and would prefer to blame it on the customer then all be on the same page as a team of staff.
I do want to say there was one male staff member with dark hair and tattoos that was apologetic and tried to help the situation. However, the rest of the staff are clearly either undertrained or simply incompetent.
The staff did not wear name badges which now isn’t surprising given the service we received. But if they had, those staff would’ve been called out by name.

Twice within one week had meals served without cutlery and on the last occasion (Friday night) my partner was left staring at her meal that she was unable to eat even after asking the wait staff for cutlery. Eventually I had to get up and find some cutlery so she could eat while I was waiting for my meal which was completely wrong and served to me when it was for another table. The wait staff were rude, arrogant, poorly dressed and when I suggested at the end of dinner that there was an ongoing issue with having meals without cutlery the last thing we heard after departing was actual laughter about it as my partner and I walked down the stairs. Both my partner and I were left shocked at this. I understand if the restaurant is busy and mistakes are part of running any business in the hospitality industry but this is just obnoxious. If the wait staff consider a level of service can be this low in a professional restaurant then that is completely fine but I simply think it's not too much to ask for some cutlery with dinner and would not bring it up unless it had happened several times and the wait staff been so arrogant as to openly laugh about it when they believed we were out of earshot when in fact we could hear quite clearly. I have tried several times on different occasions to give it the benefit of the doubt and make allowances for normal mistakes but after this I will definitely not be returning as a paying customer and would advice other possible...
Read moreI just went here for lunch with my family. We all ordered a meal. My mother is 78 years old and doesn't eat much and she only wanted a small meal, so i ordered a kids fish and chips for her. The waiter said he needed to check with the manager if my mother was allowed to order the kids meal.
As you can tell by my rating, the manager said no.
As i mentioned to the waiter as we left to go somewhere that we are treated better, I said "we did not ask for an adult sized portion for a kids price, we asked for a kids sized portion at the kids price ($16 from memory)."
Personally i dont support businesses that choose a rather silly policy, over keeping a customer happy... however, all the best!

Thanks for your response. However, what you said is not true. There was no offer of other food by the waiter, as my immediate response to him saying my mother could not have the fish and chips (child's portion) was we will go elsewhere.
Secondly, child portions are smaller than adults and are priced accordingly, ie you get a smaller meal for a smaller price, which isn't rocket science!
I concede it is your business and therefore you decide on your policies. Likewise, i get to decide who/where I spend my money and my policy is to spend my money where I am treated best, which was elsewhere.
To be clear, the waiter was polite and it looked like a nice spot to eat.
