Old, stained, damaged, unkempt, overall a very unpleasant experience for $120. We were placed in room 8 out the back of the building, it was old and dilapidated and poorly cleaned. We arrived late at 2230 and had to move someones trailer to access the parking space outside our room. Stained, old brown carpet, clumps of fluff beside the bed, one area appeared to have a big splash of paint or dye beside the bed , old bedspread that smelled badly. Sign in kitchen said "leave kitchen clean as you have found it, using products provided" The products provided were "an old basin with very dirty sponge and very dirty dish cloth" otherwise it was wash the dishes in the bathroom sink, which was slow to empty. I don't think either of these options meets any level of public health / hygiene standards especially COVID standards. I spoke to the owner on the phone after arrival at 2230, I was offered an upgrade for $150 which may or may not have bought some more hygienic conditions, we declined. While he had been friendly during the booking process he showed zero concern when I spoke to him on the phone. He said the sign in the kitchen was for long term residents only. Not sure why they are treated poorly like this ??. We were not offered any breakfast. To avoid using the dishes provided that may have been washed in a bathroom sink, we chose to go to shop at 11pm and buy disposable cups and bowls. Only saving grace was that we arrived late and left very early. I can assure you a return visit will not be required. I have photos to support my comments above should...

Looking for a room my two dogs and I could stay in, I was only able to find large rooms online, and other places more expensive. I called Kunal, he immediately took all the information and asked to call me back with a solution. He did, and he had; a room at the right price - the cheapest in town, and a little discount too.
Arriving in Wodonga, the entrance is off the High Street, central and easy to find. But from there, it was all surprises. Although like other motor inns, the car spaces are immediately outside the room doors; the design is inside out, with the central courtyard private, quiet, and fenced in, not visible from the roadside and creating a perfect atmosphere gathered around the grassy area my dogs loved, and the pool all the other guests did as well.
It is standard Motor Inn fare, nothing will scare or surprise you, and everything you need and expect is there and working. But when you look further, at the little details, the sparkle shows. It might not be new, or flashy, but Warrina is tidy, well kept, with all the little things got perfectly right. Doors, windows, curtains, flooring, AC, TV, power, lighting... i could not find a single issue or fault anything in the room.
Evenings see all the guests gather around the internal courtyard, away from traffic noise, enjoying getting to know each other. I'll...
Read moreWe cannot fault this motel - it was great! Booked via phone on the morning of arriving and was exceptionally hospitable service over the phone and in person when we arrived to the Reception desk - especially during this super busy Easter period. Being a pet-friendly motel is the best with plenty of secure garden space for all the visiting pups to play outdoors! Rooms were huge and exceptionally clean. Amenities in the room were great and seemed like renovations have just been done as bathroom was newish and so was the room itself. Great aircon system and TV and microwave and kettle, toaster, iron, hairdryer, tissues etc. Very happy with our overnight stay here. 5* for you guys - a great family run business. ...
