Mount Isa Family Fun Park — Attraction in Parkside

Mount Isa needs more places like this for children. There is a fair bit of vandalism and general maintenance around the park that needs to be fixed. As this is the only park in Mount Isa for kids of all ages it should be looked after better. Its closed every Wenesday for matenance but I'm unable to see what 'maintenance is being done. The swings for the under 5's have been missing since September 2018. A revision of the hours should be considered, as a early opening would be better for little kids, 7am-7pm? And heaps more shade structures...

Obviously the Mt Isa council or whomever is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of this fun park couldn't care less about keeping it maintained and in good order for the children of Mt Isa. Absolutely disgraceful. The water park section is filthy and I was angered that being an isolated community, the powers to be have obviously not spent one cent in keeping this park in a decent condition....

Great place to take the kids! Wish it was open every day tho not close on wednesdays as I tend to get out then.. they close for maintenance but I never see anyone down there. Also of like to see the entire play area with shade over it as the kids go down the slide and get burnt. Can't take their shoes off before they burn there feet as well. Otherwise it's a good...
