Isa Thai Takeaway — Restaurant in Queensland

All I can say is I'm mighty glad I visited this place towards the end of my stay in Isa, otherwise I'd be broke by now. Crazy good food. Usually, you hope the dish justifies the price, but in this case, it's the price that justifies the dish. Not cheap by any stretch, but depth of flavours like I've never tasted before. I had the oyster combination dish - exquisite! And the coconut rice is a must have to perfectly complement the flavours. I had been hearing phrases like "best in the state!" thrown around when asking about the place. Definitely not disappointed. Just do it at least once while you're here so you can say you've gone to Isa Thai as well. A brag title definitely...

Pretty disappointed to have spent over $125 for a few entrees and 3 mains last night (Wednesday 2nd April). All entrees were sweaty, soggy and had zero flavour. Like they had been taken out of a frozen packet from the supermarket, heated up and forgotten about. We ordered a pad see ew with beef and prawns for one of our mains... we recieved only TWO prawns in this after paying extra $ for this expensive dish accompanied by the most dry and tough beef that was not even edible that we had to throw it out. Went here after reviewing google reviews. So glad we did. The food is really tasty but a bit pricy but worth it. It was $18 for a takeaway chicken, cashew and veggies and a small rice. While we were waiting in store the place got a bit smoky from the cooking out back so they need to get some fans the lady serving had to go outside to get a bit of fresh air because the smoke was hurting her eyes.
