Edenvale Heritage Precinct — Attraction in Pinjarra

We've been living up in Mandurah for 30 odd years and never been down here, decided it was time to change that and had a thoroughly enjoyable time, there's a cafe (but beware it's not open every day and closes early afternoon), we particularly enjoyed the machinery museum but the arts and crafts were also excellent, we all bought something. Definitely worth a few hours of your time in Pinjarra, the rose garden nearby is also beautiful, all lovingly maintained.

Just to add to the above, we went down again a few days later as I realised we had not visited the Old School which sells patchwork quilts and other related gifts as it had been closed. Well worth it and the lady there was annoyed that whoever had been in charge that day had decided to shut up shop when they should have been open for business. I had the pleasure of booking the Edenvale Heritage Precinct in Pinjarra for my wedding, and it was a fantastic choice. The process to book through the Murray shire was very easy and the cost was very affordable. We booked it for a Saturday, which allowed us to pick up the keys on Friday and return them on Monday. The gardens and buildings in the precinct are absolutely beautiful and served as a picturesque backdrop for our garden wedding and reception. The inclusion of a small chapel for the ceremony was a delightful bonus. The community room, complete with toilets and a sink, was quite handy. Decided to drop into the Heritage Tea Rooms for brunch. Reasonable selection for light snacks. Larger meals also available. We saw one table had a 3 tiered stand with finger food😋 We decided to share a Reuben and a scone with jam and cream. Nice walk through the gardens to the various art, gift shops and machinery museum. The heritage rose gardens are across the road. The gardens need a bit if attention. Roses need pruning. The seat under the covered archway needs to be repaired or replaced.
