Very safe swimming area for families with kids, wide beach area. Short walk to toilets.. Great views of Portland harbour and the shipping docks. Always nice to watch the huge bulk carrier ships and the Cruise liners when in town coming and going.

Probably one of the nicest beaches in the area from my many visits. It’s always nice for a walk of the water is to cool or a swim on a hot day. There isn’t amenities close by and parking is limited during very hot days.
