I completed a 13 day solo walk of the GSWW in March 2018 and had a thoroughly good time. I saw no other hikers the whole trip, great if you enjoy getting away from it all! Campsites have everything you could need - tables, shelter, water and toilets. There is an abundance of wildlife; echidna, kangaroos, wallabies, possums, koalas, numerous birds and reptiles (yes I saw snakes but they're generally not a bother, just be mindful of them).
