Camden Bike Track — Attraction in Sydney

Has great potential, nice parks and play equipment for kids and also outdoor gym equipment as well, all located along the whole track. There are bathrooms, bubbles and also BBQ areas right along the track and the Nepean River. I went for a bike ride but was much shorter then I thought perfect for walking. Dog friendly as well, great path for dog walking.

Be advised it is still heavily affected from recent floods, path is covered in mud, dirt and sand in some areas and some sections where covered in about a foot deep water. I would give it a good few weeks or month before going there.

I will definitely be back next summer to take advantage of...

What a gem! A lovely walk into Camden along the bike track with plenty to see and do. Two sets of play equipment for the kids along the track. Areas for bbqs and parties. The track is well maintained. Lots of water stations which have recently been upgraded. Lots of wildlife including birds, ducks, lizards, horses, cows to name a few. Idyllic country feel, a great location to get out and about. Many places to go off the track including the mountain bike track, Little sandy bridge across to Elderslie and the dog park. Gets very busy especially on a Saturday morning when the park run is on...

Great spot and path. Foot bridge across the river is still closed unfortunately. Someone keeps changing the open hours to be the council hours! The bike path itself is open 24 hours!! I did a round trip through Camden and the full length of the path. 9.95 kilometres. Pretty much level the whole 9.95 kilometres. Bike path was dry in most places but still some water across a few sections. And a fair bit of standing water. Saw only a few people the entire length...
