I recently purchased Galaktoboureko from Christopher's Cakes, and I must say I am extremely disappointed with the recent changes. I've been a loyal customer for a while, but the experience I had with my most recent purchase has left me frustrated and dissatisfied.
First and foremost, it's evident that the size of the Galaktoboureko has been significantly reduced, while the price remains the same. This is a clear example of a company prioritizing profit over customer satisfaction. The smaller portion is a blatant rip-off, making me feel like I'm being taken advantage of as a loyal customer.
The joy of savoring this delectable dessert has been diminished by this downsizing. The Galaktoboureko used to be a treat worth every penny, but now it feels like I'm paying the same amount for what is essentially an appetizer-sized portion. It's disheartening to witness such a decline in quality and value.
Moreover, the taste and texture of the Galaktoboureko have also suffered due to this reduction in size. It feels dry and lacks the richness and indulgence I had come to associate with Christopher's Cakes. It's as if they've sacrificed quality along with quantity.
I expected better from a business I've patronized for so long, and I'm genuinely disappointed by these changes. It's a clear example of Christopher's Cakes putting profits above customer satisfaction, and it's a shame to see a once-beloved establishment lose its way. I hope they reconsider their decision to reduce the size of their Galaktoboureko and strive to provide a more satisfying experience for their customers. Until then, I'll be looking for alternatives that offer better value and quality for my...
Read moreI kindly asked for a fresh cake and didn't worry about the price or anything else just wanted a fresh cake as the person going to eat it is a cake maker an knows cakes! The staff member pointed to a certain cake that she claimed was fresh and arrived to the shop the same morning (today) so I was like great I'll take it 👍🏽. It ended up being a rock hard frozen cake that was a total embarrassment when we went to slice it Hours later. $62 is total robbery I should of got one from Coles or Woolies. Even after being fully defrosted the cake was just a creamy sugar bomb and definitely not a good cheesecake! I was wondering after I paid for it she mentioned leaving it out for 4 hrs I was like oh it must be very cold and hard to...
Read moreFor Greeks, this is a home away from home. Delightful sweets and savoury pastries, with gorgeously aromatic kourambiedes and succulent galaktompoureko. Good Greek coffee and plenty of seasonal deserts (like vassilopita and tsoureki). But perhaps the loveliest part of this patisserie is the staff: Demetris, an admirable professional that balances personal service with astonishingly efficient managing, and Monica’s warm behaviour create such a lovely atmosphere that everyone coming in this place clearly felt at home - just smile and get ready for a...
