I love the clothes at this shop and have been shopping here for years. I brought my friend here to go formal dress shopping and my friend wanted to try on the dress on the mannequin. She asked the sales assistant if she could and was surprised when the lady said no. She stated that she had dressed the mannequin in the morning so did not want to dress it again. She was absolutely rude when she said this and I noticed she acted very differently with adults who wished to purchase from the store. Maybe she thought that my friend wouldn't actually buy the dress and thus why she was not bothered to take the dress off the mannequin. However my friend was willing to pay for it that day. I have been shopping at Uturn Crown Street for many many years and the service is always outstanding. They are a valuable part of the Surry Hills community and make you feel part of the Uturn family. Since becoming disabled a number of years ago I am especially grateful for the teams understanding and empathy for how my clothing and footwear choices have needed to change and they are always extremely understanding in suggesting pieces that they know I will like, but that are also functionally easy for me around my disabilities; it is like having my own personal shopper and I am extremely grateful. For years now I have been a constant client at your Crown Street Surry Hills Store and been delighted with the quality. As of late - last 12 mths- I've noticed a decline in both the quality of the alleged vintage garments. If people need to source second hand or used clothes in this geographic location Vnnies Salvos and Ted Noffs all operate in the same street and charge a fraction of the price. At this point in time your maindraw card is the helpful sales lady who is always well versed in understanding various eras of fashion. I really hope in the future the buyer can source better...
