Strange World Escape Rooms — Local services in Sydney

What an incredible experience! I can’t recommend this escape room enough - every detail, task and puzzle was carefully thought out. A lot of effort went into our experience and Tanner made us feel so welcome. Tanner has done an absolutely incredible job with creating such an immersive and enjoyable experience and I hope he sets up more as he clearly knows what he is doing. There were even hidden lollipops in the room!!

The experience is scary however you can opt for a less scary version which we did halfway through. There are 5 rooms which you have to work your way through to save Santa. Each room has amazing decorations and hidden surprises as well as jump scares.

Tanner explains the whole process and any keys bits of information we needed to help us before we started the escape room. We could also ask any questions we had or ask for any hints over the walkie talkies (and also to say we were scared lol).

We had a really enjoyable time and when I’m next in Sydney I will definitely be returning. I have been to another escape room before but this one was so much better. The tickets are also very reasonable and imo should be a lot higher for the experience you are given.

A Stellar Experience at Mrs. Claws Escape Room!

From the moment we walked through the doors at Strange World Escape Rooms, we were completely immersed. The hosts greeted us fully in character, setting the tone for what was to come, and their enthusiasm and commitment to the theme made us feel like we were stepping into another world.

The theming and backstory of Mrs. Claws were absolutely top-tier. The attention to detail in the design and the seamless integration of the puzzles into the narrative were astonishing, especially considering this is their first escape room. It felt like the room had been crafted by seasoned professionals who truly understand the art of storytelling and puzzle design.

We opted for the scariest version, and they delivered on the thrills! The tension and atmosphere were perfectly balanced, making for a heart-pounding yet fun experience. Having completed over 80 escape rooms myself, I can confidently say this room stands out as a masterpiece. It’s not just good—it’s potentially the best I’ve ever done.

Wow, what an incredible experience! Today my partner, his mum, and I played this Christmas-themed escape room with a unique horror twist, and it was hands down one of the best escape rooms we've ever done.

The owners Tanner and Will really make the experience special by tailoring the game to the players, creating such a personal and immersive atmosphere. We chose the scary version, and it was definitely the right choice—so much spooky fun, with plenty of screams followed by laughter! The puzzles were creative, and the decor perfectly matched the theme—creepy yet cute.

What really stood out was how lovely the owners were; they were so kind and passionate about what they do, making it clear how much they care about creating a memorable experience. There were some very unique elements in this escape room that we’ve never seen before in any of the 60+ rooms my partner and I have played.
