Only 3 stars due to being a local since 1993.... But really, old, dreary, lots of...shops of no consequence. Woolworths is convenient, but the smallest...HEY! Only convenient if you are walking past! No easy way to get heavy loads to a car (if you could park.... sometimes possible). Alternatively, drive a minute or two extra to the HUGE Woolworths at West Ryde Marketplace (HUGE Coles beside it). park underground. stroll up easy as pie! oh! AND huge selection with MUCH longer trading hours too!

Other shops? Ummm....

Yeah I went to Medicare maybe twice (gone)

...errr was it a Tandy Electronics store a lifetime ago? Obviously desperation due to no extremely close DSE or Jaycar et al (also gone...long gone...but better that way! 😂)

mmm... I went to a pharmacy here ONCE. Expensive. But no problem. It didn't have my script in stock anyway!

So I can go to Mazzei's or Chemist Warehouse (slooooow) or that great pharmacy near the big vegetable shop....ALL cheaper and never stock issues.

....Hmmm.. I cant think of ANY reason to come here except: A very small shop at Woolworths Onset of Dementia or related...

We love this place and the Asian culture (mostly Chinese, and Korean across the railway line).. Lots of variety and food choices, especially if you go out onto the street.

The Centre itself is getting tired, leaky and cars have been known to go through the wall in the carpark and land on the street below ;) and never been fixed, just fenced off the area..

Speaking of the Car Park - There was long delays and chaos when first introducing the boom gates and timed/ pay parking restriction/s (enforcement), but great idea and hopefully settled down by now or expect 20-40mins wait to park you car - just in time to leave ;)

Tenants in the centre will start abandoning this place if they (you) keep increasing rents without reinvesting into and improving the centre and or driving more traffic (attendance) into the centre. Helping the retail shops to generate more revenue to cover costs and, make a...

This shopping centre is pathetic. Many shoppers already aware of the toilet condition... Full of urine in urinals, faeces on the toilet cover, rubbish on the dirty floor.. you name it. Escalators are ?broken or saving money to operate as simply does not care shoppers? I saw too many elderly people, with bag and things, walking up and down the escalaters which is very dangerous not only elderly people but also the general public. The centre would say that there is a notice in front of the escalators "inconvenience caused and use the lift". LIFT... only one lift, very slow, hot, smelly. WOW.. I understand people left a reasonable reviews for food selections, but what about the basic functions of the centre. It does not matter the building would be rebuilt in a few years?

Dear management, It is common sense on how to look after the people who come to spend money and time. Please...

Edit: 3.4 - Whilst this shopping centre is very dated and has seen its better days, it is still a good place to buy groceries upstairs. There are two fruit and vegetables shops and a Woolworths that seems to have most of its products discounted! There is a Medical Centre, Florist, Butcher, Newsagency and many random shops inside. There is a huge furniture/odds and ends store towards the back half of the Ground Floor. It's a cross between Bing Lee, Reject Shop and some Asian furniture shop. Fun to kinda snoop around. DO NOT visit the toilets though - It was enough to disgust me that I stayed away for months! Better Hygiene maintenance needed!

Eastwood has transformed itself into a thriving metropolis in the past 6 years, offering a large range of Korean, Japanese and Chinese cuisine and shops. There are western shops too, but not very many. The parking can be tight on the weekends, but during the evenings on weeknights it is much easier, and the restaurants are open until quite late, so I head here for late night dinners when other suburbs are preparing to sleep. The street food sensation is really well planned in Eastwood, and is located beside the masonic building. They have fluffy steamed cheesecakes, skewers, desserts, and lunch /dinner snacks.

Looking for a multi-cultural experience? Wander through Eastwood shopping centre. Split by the railway line, you will mingle with Korean people on the east side and Chinese people on the west side. Jostle with the friendly crowds, listen to the locals bargain with the shopkeepers (and guess at the dialogue), spy the different fruit and vegetables and smell the delicious odours emanating from the food shops. An inexpensive outing that is highly recommended.
