Cooks River Kayaks — Local services in Sydney

Paul and his team give the best kayak experience. So passionate about the river, Paul gives you a river briefing, ensures you’re strapped into a life jacket (provided) properly and sends you off in the right direction. Little do you know that the local council, when renovating the river promenade, installed a dedicated “kayak launch pad” (my words, not Paul’s) meaning that entry into and out of the river is safe and totally dry. I booked only the night before as I’d decided some local exercise before work would be a lovely idea. Which it was! Paul was ready with my kayak at 6.50am, and I went off for an hour at sunrise on a river blanketed in fog. So beautiful!! Will be back and will definitely join the river clean ups...

It was a fantastic day and the Cooks River was beautiful. That in itself deserved 5 stars but the five stars I've given is solely to Paul at Cooks River Kayaks.

From the initial inquiry and booking, all the way to returning to shore with the kayak, Paul has been an excellent host. He assisted with photos and getting on and off and helping us with quick instructions.

Best service ever! Definitely worth doing. It was fun and refreshing kayaking on the cooks river. Paul was so helpful and accommodating in all things, which was the main reason why I booked there to begin with. He provided a few things to make our picnic possible on the day, and really went beyond and above to make sure we had the best time.
