Xmas is looming - less than 10 weeks away -head on over to Adora -you;ll be thanking me,,,,' Service; always good and friendly. Food; There is no denying that Adora Chocolates is my idea of the best mocha's in NSW and the best selection of hand-made chocolates in the Southern Hemisphere. cleanliness; place is always very clean. Stand-out features; I adore Mocha's and I have tasted a fair share of Mocha's in my lifetime and travels -this review is not posted as idle rantings from a mocha-holic. The Adora secret is - They use real belgium milk chocolate in all their Mocha's which is why the cost is $6.00 (almost double, and ranging on size etc) what you would pay at any other cafes in Sydney(you also get to pick a hand-made chocolate for this price also). WARNING: Highly addictive - The quality is un-deniably more tasty, more luxurious and once you taste their Mocha's - you will be disappointed with all other mocha's thereon after. Hint: Go there in the mornings around 8am to buy a spinach or cheese pastry fresh from the oven -flaky pastry, warm, great flillings and great quality. Make sure you ask 'how long ago were they made' - the just baked are the best!!! November - they are gearing up for xmas - get your xmas orders in now - the lines for xmas treats around December are huge...avoid it, order now. Value for money; not cheap, however, you are paying for 'quality'. My pick for xmas??? - you be the judge of that - choice is huge,...
Read moreWas recommended these chocolates by a friend. Went there on Saturday 21st Aug morning and was greeted by lovely and helpful girl. I ordered about $30 of chocolates, skim flat white and normal flat white. The barista on the other hand was unfriendly and used full cream milk in both coffees but still proceeded to write ‘S’ on the top of the lid of one of the coffees to indicate skim milk. I saw him use the same jug to pour milk but I just thought that maybe it was only a little bit of the wrong milk on top. But he used full cream in both. My partner and I already walked so far away before my partner had a taste of the coffee to realise. The cafe was so quiet and no other coffee orders were up so there was no rush. Never going back again. I know it’s Covid times and people are doing it tough, but this is just dishonest, lazy and terrible service especially when you’ve spent $40 for chocolates...
Read moreI have known Adora since it began operations and admire the energy of the two sisters who started the business from nothing. The quality of their products was always their highest consideration and the satisfaction from eating their products was always wonderful. It is wonderful to see their business blossoming and while some people may feel more could have been done to make them happy, please remember the owners of Adora rely on their employees and sometimes for many many reasons employees can fail to be perfect. Over the many years of enjoying Adora chocolates with a coffee, I only ever enjoyed the experience. I have also run my own cafe and used Adora chocolates to compliment coffees I served to my customers. I am a big fan and offer a heart felt thank you to my friends, the...
