Read moreOne of my favourite beaches. Parking is busy but not as crazy as Manly etc. Sand is very nice, water is quite clear and balmy but cooling temp on a hot summer's day. Beach extends out a fair way so not as short or abrupt as Dee Why or Curl Curl imo. Waves in the flag zone are really enjoyable... they can get to a good size but nothing too crazy, so you will have tons of fun and not get smashed. Some really amazing views too around Freshy. It was quite interesting watching them clean the pool over several hours. The fact that they do it at night would assume that no locals were interrupted but at the same time.
