The Pocket Freshwater — Restaurant in Sydney

Review edited previously given higher rating changed due unsatisfactory service. Went there for weekday lunch ordered the Brekkie Burrito with halloumi the guy who served it chucked it on the table and turned his back not asking if I need anything, the place wasn't even busy to runawaylike that, didn't even bring any cutlery, napkins or water. I tried to eat the Burrito with my hand but was too messy and soft to eat without cutlery. No staff around to ask for anything, So got up to get cutlery and napkins within 2 seconds even before I get to the cutlery station 4 birds were on top of my Burrito. Other patrons said you can't leave any food here. It's really disappointing that the staff members should know and should do their job properly and bring the cutlery and napkins. I had no time to reorder so only ate the still edible half...

Waited for ages just near where we ordered and paid for our coffee. Eventually asked how our order was tracking and was told it's been ready for some time...around the corner where we were somehow meant to know to collect coffee! Not told this when we ordered and there was no sign inside ordering area either...so no way of knowing we were meant to wait somewhere else. Since coffees were therefore cold from waiting so long for collection, when we asked for them to be re heated , and suggested communication upon ordering as to where to collect received a frosty (pardon the pun) reception from service staff. All round, terrible service and ordinary coffee when it finally arrived....

Very disappointed with the service at this place. The lady who took our order did not even tell us the price, just told us to pay. We saw that the small coffee was written as $4.70 on the cup at the front, but then after we paid, the price came up as $10. When we went back to ask why we were paying $5 per coffee. She said that there was a weekend AND card surcharge. Also, to top it all off the coffee was awful. It tasted like pure milk. Never coming back here again. This place only seems to survive due to its location being the only café right by the beach. Ridiculous customer service and...
