Hallstrom Park — Attraction in Sydney

Such a great park. There is a turtle shell cubby, slides to go down, a birds nest swing, sandpit, a hill to climb with rope to assist, wooden structure with play shop. There’s a motorised merry-go-round but it was out of action when we went. There are metal musical structures in the bush kids can play with, and a big field right nearby to run around on. There were toilet facilities and I believe barbecue facilities as well there’s a walking path that has some interesting statues like a gorilla and elephant. Great bike path for teaching little ones how to ride. From there there is also a path that can take you all the way to Epping!!! The playground is awesome, spread out over a large area and the cafe (incinerator) is good too. Well shaded and frankly... absolutely perfect for anyone aged 0-10. However that then becomes it's downfall... it gets so busy here that it's literally impossible to find a carpark and there's no parking on the side streets around there. The Willoughby leisure Centre carpark is your only option most days and that's a bit of a walk away and worse if you have kids...

Lovely shaded Park with lots of structured and unstructured play option for children (Twelve and under). There is a great bicycle / scooter track. The Incinerator Cafe is nearby for the caffeine needs of weary parents and carers. It would be great if they added some facilities for older children and adults that are young at heart. Like a skate park/ bowl, parkour Park, rock climbing / full size bouldering wall, Adult size swings. Parking right at the park can be busy. But there is usually plenty of parking found near the Aquatic centre or netball centre just...
