Don't let the daggy exterior signage or menus fool you, these is a top notch café with above average food and above average service, as you can tell from the 4.8 star rating. We went at 9.30 on a Sunday and I was shocked by how quiet dine in was. You'll definitely get a seat. Very convenient parking right out the front on weekends, when it's not a clearway. On weekday peak, park around the corner or even at the rear. Very clean toilet, though a long wander through an uncovered alleyway to get there though, so would be unpleasant if raining or dark. Very happy with my chai brewed on almond milk, served in a pot from a tear bag and powder - surprisingly good tasting considering they don't have sticky chai - I found this comparable. We found some of the menu items novel - French toast made from a croissant! Omelet (sic) served open more like a pizza!
Cafe interior up to date and comfortable.
I'd love to see them reprint the menus in a better style and font. And change their outdoor signage - it look like a fish and chip shop from the signage alone.
Service was very friendly, attentive, accommodating. Fluent local English spoken. Fully able to discuss menu items and special requirements in detail, and accommodate our request to bring out items at different times. (I find it stressful elsewhere if they don't make me feel confident they've understood my allergies or requests and I'm left wondering. None of that...

Read moreI have visited this cafe a lot recently and the owner is extremely rude.
Possibly to many early mornings.
He even threatened to call the police on me when I questioned his attitude.
He even continued to argue in front of the customers.
I went to the cafe on the corner called the “Little Giant Roasters” and they were the complete opposite with better coffee and 5 star service as I was even offered a free muffin.
Won’t be going back to this place because why should I support his business when he doesn’t know how to treat his...
