Little Giant is located on the corner of Willoughby & French’s Rd in a quiet shopping village in Willoughby. After looking at the ratings vs reviews, little giant was one that stood out for me to try. First impression, it’s located in a prime location easy to find and hard to miss. The shopfront & signage is a bit basic and black mainly which doesn’t seem that inviting. Once inside it’s totally different vibe with warmer tones but the interior deco is all over the place, there’s too much going on. Same goes with the food displays and drinks fridge. The food was not appealing to me, so I ordered a cronut and sesame latte. I would not recommend the sesame latte, it feels like you’re drinking sand but flavoured, the taste is not great. Just stick to a plain latte, you can’t go wrong with a nice roasted coffee and the barista does a good job making it. Review 2: tried a latte today and it was worse than a maccas or BP instant coffee. Even I make nicer coffee on my Nespresso machine at home. The coffee has no bean flavour, I was mainly drinking milk. Not sure if they changed barista but it was undrinkable 👎

Couldn’t be happier. This was a find out of luck more than anything. We were browsing Google and came across this place. Next minute, we were there. I have absolutely no complaints about this place. In fact, quite the opposite. The staff were incredible. I think the owner or the manager was helping us when we arrived. Honestly, it was some of the best service we have had. She offered to provide suggestions and went on to explain parts of the menu. The food we picked was wonderful. I loved every mouthful. We had the Benedict Rosti and the Corn Fritters. To top it all off, the coffee was beautiful. So much so it inspired me to buy some beans when we left. Props to this place. Make an effort to go here! Edit: Went back a second time and the service was lacking (we needed to ask for someone to take our order - I think we were forgotten after asking her to come back as we were still looking). Will still give this a five star review.

Upon entry my partner and I experienced a warm welcome, and a good ‘ol chuckle. We decided there and then to eat here as we were trying out cafes in the area. To our astonishment, the food was beyond expectation, and the service is spectacular. We ordered the Alaskan Crab Linguine & Pulled Pork Salad. We were extremely satisfied with the balance of flavours of the food, and the tastiness of all the individual ingredients. The manager Kevin is a sensational person who really knows how to make people’s days with his fun, interactive, and caring attitude. Loved every minute since we walked in :) thanks so much team! We will return with our friends and family again soon! ❤️

It's so hard to find a place that is passionate about their coffee and also makes equally good food. This place is fantastic. Constantly pumping out great tasting and good quality coffee (ONA is our second favourite brand next to Five Senses) with perfect fluffy creme on top and paired great with chocolate in the mochas as well.

Every single staff member are attentive and super welcoming. The owner is also hardworking and looks super passionate about her business which is something to always look for when going into an establishment. We ordered a steak noodle bowl, and usually with steak on any cafe or restaurant menu, you get a small looking portion that is not cooked correctly or seasoned. This entire dish was simple, flavourful, and perfectly portioned! The steak was cooked medium rare to our liking, seasoned wonderfully, sauce was great, and they didn't skimp on the size of the steak! Generous portioning- thank you high heavens!

Got takeaway the next time we came- sweet corn fritters and a nourishing bowl. Fantastic! Corn fritters are the usual for most cafe menus, but you can absolutely get horrible soggy ones. This was CRISP on the outside, soft towards the middle, good corn, veggie, and batter ratio, and WELL SEASONED! I cannot stress enough that seasoning is so important in any brekkie dish and this didn't need any extra salt or pepper. Egg cooked perfectly for takeaway too! Bacon and rocket also great! The only SLIGHT downside to this is that there is a little bit longer wait for food, but you can't ever rush good food. Totally worth the wait. And the sweet options in the window are a bit boring, but I can live!

Honestly, one of my favourite cafes around the lower north shore. Highly recommended!...
