Hugh Bamford Reserve is in North Bondi bounded by steep sea cliffs to the east and Military Road to the west. The reserve has a half size playing field complemented by a carpark, community hall, grassed amphitheatre and lookout with spectacular views south towards Bondi and onto Malabar Headland and west toward the city and harbour. I didn't realise that there is other parts of this reserve. I found a small car park at the entrance. This part of the reserve is near the sewerage station. There was a large grassed area, but the smell from the sewerage station was very strong. Not worth putting up...
Read moreHuge park with no covered area. This is a huge park where you can get partial sea views. It looks great but it looks like the council does not want people to visit this place and facilities are lacking. I went there thinking I could get closer to water but the area is fenced.
If you want to walk or run, then this place is for you. Else you should have a good reason to come here as there are plenty of other areas which offer glorious...

You've been watching this Bondi beach only on television but from this place everything is real, the besutiness of this beach and the area itself around. Also people told me that there's a free car park (small but free) of you're coming to Sydney and don't want to spend loads of money...
