Good coffee. Food is a bit overpriced, and the staff are not very welcoming to people with laptops (even when you order a full, expensive meal), which is a pity because they'll likely miss out on potential regular and loyal customers.

This morning they passive-aggressively came and said the table will be reserved, implying me and other single people with laptops in nearby 2-person tables should leave. (I had arrived after the others, and had ordered way more expensive items).

It was starting to get busy, so I was planning to finish my coffee and leave soon anyway, so that hint from the staff felt unnecessary and left a bad impression. Better be direct at least!

When I went to pay, there seemed to be an unexplained surcharge on my bill also. Not sure what that was for.

Probably won't be going back often. Will stick to other more welcoming cafes in the area for my regular focused work...

BEST matcha in Bondi!!! As a certified matcha snob I only ever go to G’day for my matcha when I am in Bondi now. The strawberry chia matcha is delicious but they also have an extensive matcha menu which I can’t wait to try. The matcha powder itself is very good quality and they hand whisk it! It’s very close to some other cafes in bondi which I think are grossly overrated and always have lines of people waiting for shitty matcha and mid food, and I walk past and think to myself - what idiots. If they walked 2 minutes further up the street they’d get a REAL matcha and not have to wait 20 minutes for a table. I’ve brought a few fellow matcha lovers to this place and they’ve all loved it. Food is also delicious and fresh and...

Where to start… dirty cutlery, had to ask for more water, waited 50 minutes for our food but our friend got her food 10 minutes before us. The table behind us waited the same time for cheese sandwiches and heard they forgot to bring their chips. My boyfriend did not order bread and then it came and he had to pay for it The Rostis were revolting - over fried and seemed defrosted I asked twice where our food was and the waiter didn’t even come to update us I had to go up to ask the manager These prices are ridiculous. The service was shocking. Atleast the manager gave us a discount when we left. Highly recommend not going here. This place has gone down from when...

If you're in the North Bondi area, make sure to stop by Bobby's Corner Cafe on 30A Hastings Parade! This cafe serves up some of the best breakfast I've had in a while. The Açaí Bowl was absolutely delicious, full of fresh fruit and just the right amount of sweetness. The warm Porridge was also a standout - comforting and filling. The OatCap was amazing, perfectly prepared and delicious. And the freshly squeezed orange juice was a perfect complement to the meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Overall, I highly recommend Bobby's Corner Cafe for anyone looking for a great breakfast spot in North Bondi.
