Savion on the Grill — Restaurant in Sydney

Everything was perfect. I ordered the lamb shashlik, and my wife had the chicken shawarma. We were both VERY impressed with the service and the food.

The meat was perfectly cooked, not dry or chewy at all.

I have a sesame allergy, and I was glad to see there were individual tongs for each salad option, because otherwise there can be a lot of cross contamination with the tahini/houmous. The staff were very accommodating and told me which sauces I could eat (sorry I didn't catch your name!).

Chef was very friendly too!

Memories of this place are as faded as my social life. Is it as good as i recall, or was i really drunk (all) at the time? Certainly the welcome was great and the felafel pita looked fine. Salads were ok and the read customarily soft. Sadly the dream ended there. The felafel, as you'll see if you can bare to look at my half eaten pita, were soft on the bite, as if the felafel had been frozen? One of the most lovely restaurant ever I visited! I and my husband went there by accident and just right after I opened the door, I felt like they can make my day! I asked the staff to recommend me the menu and it was chicken plate which is served with hummus, tahini, falafel, chili sauce and vegies. This combination was like a heaven and we fell in love with this Mediterranean food. The pita bread was chewy and their service was warm and kind.
