Tonight I ordered the Prosciutto pizza. This pizza was delicious, every ingredient was fresh and bursting with authentic flavours. True traditional Italian style pizza. I recommend this pizza. I ordered through Uber Eats however, I called the restaurant in Sylvania and asked the lady to please put only 1/4 amount of cheese - I always ask any place to reduce cheese anywhere I eat. And the lady responded with most helpful attitude so I do not understand the very few negative reviews about customer service one guy stipulating he where he grew up and what elite school he went to - as if restaurant staff should praise him like he is a King… my gosh… The lady I spoke to refined my order very quickly and efficiently, on top of that, she was also very kind, and on top of that she added some Italian words as we spoke, it certainly made my entire experience a pleasant one. The uber driver arrived quickly and he was respectful. The pizza looked amazing and tasted even better. I was not able to upload a photo of it because of some technical issue with my phone right now, but as soon as I can upload the photo I will. Read moreMy husband and I had a very disappointing experience at Di Napoli. During our meal, he unknowingly sat on a chair with a little sharp edge sticking out, which tore his pants. When we informed the staff, we only received a simple apology. I assumed they might offer some form of compensation, like a discount or covering our 2 pizzas. However, when I politely mentioned this before paying, the response was astonishing. The staff member said it was our fault because 'there’s no cover on the chair,' and even suggested my husband tore his pants by moving around too much on the chair. When I explained he was simply sitting normally, she dismissed my concerns and made it seem like I was being overly dramatic.
I found the response not only unhelpful but disrespectful. I didn’t expect to bring my own chair cover just to avoid damage to my clothes, nor did I expect to be blamed for an issue caused by their furniture. The staff member greeted me at the counter where an order would be placed and told me the kitchen closed early just because “it was a quiet night”. People were still sitting down eating and there was an entire hour left until closing. I had been working all evening and planned my dinner based on the hours provided online as most restaurants around here close at 8:30/9 PM and now there aren’t many options for me to eat dinner from.
