Small but stunning little park at the end of Balmain peninsula. Great views of both the Harbour bridge, Barrangaroo and Darling Harbour. The ferry wharf is at one end so an easy place to visit from the city or Darling Harbour. There's also some Aboriginal history here and a new restaurant called 'The Fenwick' looks like it might open soon. Toilet facilities are modern and clean and there's a small but practical kids play area. Cafes etc. a short walk up the hill.

Sydney foreshores at it's best. A HUGE park with plenty of room for the kids and/or pets to run amok. There's plenty of benches to sit on and it gets packed out on weekends, so get in early to ensure you get a good spot. Bring you picnic blanket and food and make a day of it whilst Sydney Harbour puts on a show all around you. You'll soon see why it gets packed out. Brilliant way to spend a few...
