This park is a hidden gem part of the SydneySiders who live here are very lucky people because of the nice beautiful weather which there can see it at the balcony window. The Pirrama Park was my first time going there with the groups so the seats were not that dirty to have morning tea while the pigeons were out there wanting some food so to shoo them away. It was a nice sunny day to have a walk to the view of the harbour bridge which we took a lot of photos including a group photo with a man running a marathon took a good photo of the background. I saw the Sydney Tower with a view of the cargo ships across the Harbourside. Tall Buildings are a feature often seen everywhere when going out for the day to take photos of what you see or hear at the surroundings of people. Even though we did play badminton at the park with friends. The want to go place is satisfying to go with friends or family or just chilling at the park alongside on your own. Parking is available for disability van. Toilets is around the corner of the kiosk cafe. Kid’s playground friendliness for kids who want to enjoy their time. Cafes are a great time to chillax to see the view of the maritime town centre. It was a fantastic time experience the place which I haven’t visited before. The best time of my life was the one with the view of the harbour bridge. The bins were very close to the seats between the seating area and...
Read moreNice little park at the end of Pyrmont to get a good (partial) view of the water and the Anzac/Harbor Bridges. Seemed very peaceful, with lots of people walking, lazing around on the grass, and socializing. The eastern section of the park didn’t seem to be as well maintained and looked a little worn down, but the western part was much more inviting. It’s a short walk from Darling Harbor and/or the Maritime Museum, and worth the hike if you have some free time. There’s lots of little cafes/restaurants nearby, so maybe pick up a coffee or a gelato and come here to relax.
The park itself is easy to access by foot or via public transportation. It’s walkable from Darling Harbor, or you can take the tram to John St Square and then walk a couple of blocks to the water.
Probably not worth traveling here just to see the park, but worth visiting if you’re nearby and want to...
Read moreI went to Pirrama Park over the weekend and was amazed to see many groups happily BBQing. In spite of families frolicking their way to the park, it looked damn clean. I also spotted many folks quietly sitting on their foldable chair and fishing whilst listening to their favourite tune on iPods. After all there is some solace in cooking your catch! This harborside parkland is a famous attraction for kids. After all how can anyone resist the adventure of skinny dipping on a warm weekend afternoon? If you want to spot some nice boats, go for a stroll along the park. Right from some big snazzy floating restaurants to private lean mean machines, you can enjoy all in one sight. I got lucky to see the gorgeous beauty that is also known as Princess Cruise anchored on the other side. For those who want to skip the hassle of carrying food or BBQing, there are quaint little...
