There is a great vibrancy around this wharf. Tickets are cheap. $4 each way on the ferry to Devonport. It was really nice travelling over on the top of the ferry, wind in the hair. We bought our tickets over the counter, but I believe a travel card is also available for those who want to do more travel. This place is Clean and the service is pleasant. The Ferries seem on time and prompt on and off loading. If I was staying longer in Auckland I would like to do more exploring using the ⛴️. They are affordable and accessible.
