The food itself was good, but the overall experience with the entire restaurant cannot justify the $140 pp pricing we paid inc one drink pp and not including any desserts. Front of house It was clear the team is not experienced enough to run the front of house with efficiency and not able to create a welcoming, customer focused experience that one would expect with at this price point. The host, there seems to be 2 hosts at the restaurant, but it was difficult to tell as they also shared many other duties of the waiter, like serving dishes, clearing tables and managing other waiters. Their mannerism feels dry and matter of the fact and didn’t provide a welcoming atmosphere. And since they were sharing many other duties, they left many customers waiting to be greeted once the restaurant gets busy. The waiters/waitresses, they all felt uneasy and tense and quite understaffed. When serving they were hesitant at where to place the food. Looking around, the few waiters around weren’t fully sure which tables are which and there were food brough to our table that weren’t ours. At times there were food or sauces left on the table after a course, and we had to request it to be cleaned. Food For entre we ordered garlic bread, which was just very average and was $24 for 4 pieces. The rock oysters were extremely salty, and the presentation was strange to leave the shell enclosed. Steak tartare was good, if it was $20-30, but it was $42, it wasn’t wagyu or anything special and can’t justify the pricing. Buffalo calamari, was pretty good, the spicy tartare sauce was a bit redundant as the buffalo hot sauce was much better. Mains Rocket pear salad was a bit salty for some of the people but overall was nice and refreshing. Toothfish I personally didn’t have much, but my mum seems to enjoyed it and she finished it all. Sous vide beef short ribs was tender, but the barbeque sauce was overly sweet and generic. Tomahawk Steak, this is the big one and was supposed to impress us. Served table side, was able to get a good insta story out of it. The meat and sauces was good, comparable to any other steak house. We originally tried to order the 1kg Bistecca but apparently, the kitchen only had 2 x 500g which we didn’t want, so we changed to the tomahawk. Sides Grilled sweet cord ribs was great and everyone enjoyed it. Truffle steakhouse chips, there were plenty of truffle, only wished if the chips weren’t so thick. Portabella mushrooms was nice and had a great umami taste. Dessert N/A, we didn’t order any, partially because we were quite full, but mainly because by that time, the restaurant was quite busy, and we didn’t have a waiter around for a while and we didn’t well like waiting anymore. Overall The food was good but can’t justify the pricing, especially if you look at the overall service. If you were after a good steak and customer service, look elsewhere, probably Meat and Wine for a better experience. If you are after the waterfront view, then maybe it’s worth it??

I wanted to share some feedback about our recent dining experience. I visited the restaurant on Wednesday, 24th July with my girlfriend and sister to celebrate my birthday. The ambience was nice and it looked like we were the first ones to arrive. Nico greeted us warmly, wishes me happy birthday (which was a nice touch), and let us choose our table. Everything was amazing in the beginning until we encountered some issues with our meal that I felt were important to bring to your attention. We ordered the tomahawk steak, which we waited 45 minutes for (we were made aware of this and proceeded to order), expecting it to be cooked medium-rare. It came some time after we were finished with appetisers. Nico set up a little station, blow-torched the steak and cut it by the side of our table which we enjoyed. However, once we inspected it by the time it was plated and served on our table, we were disappointed to see it has been cooked to medium-well and even well-done in some parts, which made it quite difficult to enjoy! Considering we paid $199 for this dish, we were let down that we could barely finish it between the three of us. We did notify the waiter upon enquiry, and he offered to order a round of drinks on the house, however we refused since we did not want any. The waiter then mentioned that he will talk to the manager to see what they can do. The manager never came to talk to us and we were offered 20% off the tomahawk ($39.80) only and free cakeage ($9 value). Additionally, the squid ink mafalda we ordered was slightly overcooked, though this was not as significant an issue as the steak, which was supposed to be the dish of the night. While we appreciate the 20% discount gesture on the tomahawk, it did not feel adequate compensation for a meal we were unable to finish, and we were left going home feeling disheartened that we spent a lot of money for something we did not enjoy. We hope that you will take this feedback into consideration to improve the experience for future guests.

Celebrated my parents arrival in Sydney from overseas , but it was bit of a letdown . The food tasted ok, with extravagant decor driving up the cost. Wow. What a weird experience(s). Went for breakfast - very good. Amazing architecture. Service incredibly slow even though just 3 tables. But was great food, so we thought we'd try a Sunday lunch (belated Valentine's lunch). "This was incredibly disappointing" were the words I said while paying for lunch. Here's the lowdown: a) The scallops. Overcooked to the point of shrunken / chewy. We ordered charred broccolini as a side for our mains (told there was none available) yet the scallops had broccolini on it. b) Calamari was nice. "Warm" not hot. Nice flavour. c) Swordfish was tasty but definitely overcooked (ordered medium). e) I ordered the crab chili tomato pasta... and.... there was ZERO crab. No crab. At all. Other pics within Google reviews show crab in this dish - mine had none. It was a tomato pasta dish - 100% veggie. I ate 1/3 of it in this odd pasta plate (pic) then when I informed wait staff, they immediately said "I'll go back to the kitchen right away for the crab"... Tick. Tock. 10minutes go by. No service. No crab. If crab pasta has no crab might the steak and mash only be a plate of mash? I can't risk it w a future booking. So, I paid the bill. Apologies were given, two margaritas were treated by the establishment. Great architecture - they've got an amazing location, but with service and food at a sub par level, I can't recommend.

Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Elements Seafood Grillhouse and I must say, it was a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. This premium dining establishment offers a captivating atmosphere for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that perfectly set the tone for an indulgent meal. The decor seamlessly blended modern elegance with coastal charm, creating an atmosphere that felt both sophisticated and relaxed. The attention to detail in the preparation of each dish was evident in every bite. The seafood was impeccably fresh, and the flavors were expertly balanced to highlight the natural taste of each ingredient. The chefs have truly mastered the art of creating dishes that are both delectable and visually stunning. The service was another highlight of my experience. The staff was attentive, offering recommendations that enhanced my dining choices. While the premium dining experience undoubtedly comes with a corresponding price tag, I found the quality and overall experience to be well worth the investment. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking to treat yourself to an exquisite meal, Elements Seafood Grillhouse is a destination that delivers on its promise of an exceptional dining experience.

The staff at Elements were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The food at Elements was absolutely delicious. We started with the entrees, and we ordered the Salt & Pepper Bay Bugs & the togarashi spiced calamari (calamari over cooked a bit). The servings for the entrees were quite large, but they were packed with flavour. The Bay Bugs were spicy hot but incredibly tasty. For our mains, I had the Crispy skin Barramundi. Although the skin wasn't as crispy as I had hoped, the fish itself was cooked perfectly. However, I was surprised to find that most of the dishes on the menu contained cheese, which I don’t eat. The meals were much larger than we expected. It would have been helpful if the waiter had informed us about the portion sizes so that we could have adjusted our order accordingly. The wine selection at Elements was good, and we enjoyed our choices. The interior of the restaurant had a masculine vibe, and the seating was comfortable. However, the noise level was a bit high. Overall, our lunch dining experience at Elements was enjoyable. The staff were attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We would recommend Elements to others, but we would advise them to be mindful of the portion sizes and the noise level.
