Not good ... since the opening of the lake to the sea via a drenched channel the Narrabeen Lake has become tidal. The exposure of the lake bed to extra sunlight during low tide is turning the lake into a smelling swamp. Recreational boating and windsurfing too is very much impaired by excessive seaweed. Read moreThis is my local park, we are here often. It is a great spot for a picnic, a paddle on the lake, or a lovely flat walk, run or cycle around the lake. There are adequate bbq facilities and toilets, but there could be more. Plenty of ticketed parking, free parking if you have the Northern beaches parking permit.
