Located at 1395A Pittwater Road, Narabeen, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. This is a wonderful little cafe and uniquely designed with the huge tram situated at the front. You can go inside and have a look, get your photo taken. It’s quite a novelty to draw people in. The cafe is located directly near the beautiful park overlooking the Narabeen Lagoon. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and can get very busy. It seemed to be very popular with the locals which is always a good sign. It’s also situated directly next to a very good children’s playground and basketball court. Great to have a lovely meal and then move on to the playground if you have children. I had the pancakes and they were very delicious and the rest of my group enjoyed their meal also. There is good toilet 🚻 facilities and the car 🚗 park is a stone’s throw away. The staff were so friendly and eager to help us with our order and any questions. It’s only a few minutes from the B-Line Bus 🚌 to the city also. You can also dine inside the Tram but I believe the food is served in takeaway containers. Would definitely recommend. Thumbs up!! 👍👍

First time being at Tramshed Cafe, I’ve came here before but they had issues with the grill and food was closed so I decided to leave and come back another to have the full experience and thank god I’ve done that! The cafe was great, a simple Latte but with all a Latte needs to be nice, but the White Mocha really got me, my wife ordered it and the drink amazed us on how well done was made, feeling sweet like a Mocha should be, but not too sweet and not with an artificial flavor. The food was spectacular, 5 stars for the simplistic yet so creative make of the Avo Chicken melt, which I can’t believe no other cafes around here have. And my Potato Rosti was on spot, with a tasty Ragu, not too spiced but just on the right amount, and also a poached egg that decorated the dish vigorously, bringing protein but not taking the stage. I really enjoyed the overall experience and recommend to anyone interested in good food for an affordable fair price.

I was looking forward to visiting this place for a while and finally found myself in the area. There is a old retired tram parked right outside the front door of this place. Very cool. The cafe is spacious with play area for children. Many children. I ordered the avocado smash with tomato and ricotta cheese. If there is one thing I don’t understand is why I get guacamole instead of freshly sliced smashed avocado. To me there is a big difference between the two. Unfortunately I got the very runny version of guacamole. The toast was very thin and dry and there was too much happening on the plate. I asked for an espresso and another thing I can’t understand is why some places think that you would like a double shot espresso. I would have said please give me a “double espresso”. Apart from that staff were nice but if you’re looking for a quiet spot to read a book or paper, then bring some ear plugs. Coffee 6/10

Great location and lots of potential but it ends there. Have tried a few times but the food never lives up to the menu.

Off my local list as when last there a lady had her dog inside which management saw. Not only was the dog inside but the patron gave the dog a water glass (for patrons) and let it drink out of it on the ground. When she left she put it back on the table with her own drinking glass. I was planning on alerting a staff member but nobody came to clear the area. When I was leaving I picked up the glass and took it to the counter. I suggested to the girl behind the counter that she should dispose of it as a dog had drank out of it and was unhygienic. Instead she placed it in the sink with the other used glasses disgusting. Also my breakfast came out 10 minutes after my partner’s so he had finished as mine arrived. The scrambled eggs were cold and rubbery.

IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER’S REPLY The girl behind the counter most certainly did understand when I told her that the glass had been drunk out of as she too agreed it was disgusting but still proceeded to place it in the sink. The dog in question was definitely not a companion dog for the impaired. The person who I do believe is the manager (a tall dark haired woman in her 40’s) did in fact see the dog inside and did nothing about it which...

Usually would not leave a disappointing review. The Tramshed cafe manager and staff exceptionally rude and would not own up to their mistake. Definetely not covid safe at all. This experience was quite upsetting.

The workers had mixed up our table with another one 3 times and claimed that we (the customers) had given the incorrect table number. They gave us a dish, realised it was for another table - then proceeded to take that dish directly to right table without re-making. Same situation for the coffee we ordered.

We also found a hair in one of our dishes, the staff did not awknowledge the issue after raising it.

When addressing this issue to the staff with the manager present (Asian guy), staff proceeded to be very rude and blame Customers. They were very resistant on taking responsibility for their mistake, argued with us and rudely gave money into my friends hand without apologizing.

For a place charging minimum 19$ for a dish with an additional 10% sunday surcharge, we expected BETTER service and covid-safe procedures to be followed. Please do table ordering if you are going to blame a Customer for apparently giving the wrong table number.

The food is okay, service is terrible and they do not follow covid safe procedures. Would rate it 0...

Had a very bad experience today at the cafe.

Firstly our drink was brought to the wrong table and then brought to us directly which in this day and age is unhygienic.

Second , another tables food was brought to our table and then they realised it was a mistake and they took it directly to the other table.

Third, there was a piece of hair in one of the dishes.

Finally when we complained to the manager about this, he gave us a refund on part of our orders however he had a bad attitude when he gave it to us and rushed off towards the back without an apology. Another staff was also talking back to everything we explained saying that mix ups happen when we order separately, implying it was our fault but how can they get 3 out 4 orders wrong? If they get the orders so wrong they should just opt to take table orders which would save them from such issues. The women also said they take the wrong dishes back to the kitchen and remake them but we clearly saw it get taken from in front of me to the table across from us.

Also be aware, they have 10% surcharge on Sundays and public holidays and 1.5% charge on cards.

Overall, very bad attitude and service. They can't even accept their mistakes or give us an apology. ...
