Yesterday my friend purchased two pricey items for a Christmas gift. The lady serving her could not have tried any harder to make it clear that she didn't want to be there. When my friend asked if they gift wrap (there is literally a gift wrapping station in the store all set up), the lady said they are very busy and was clearly irritated by the request. My friend politely said she'd really like them wrapped as they are for her sister's christmas present. The lady begrudgingly went to get a box to put them in. Another much friendlier staff member asked my friend if she was being served in the meantime, to which my friend said she was and had asked for her bowls to be wrapped. The lady responded saying "yes of course we can wrap those for you, I'll go and get some bubble wrap." My friend then let the original lady know that the other lady went to get bubble wrap, to which the lady basically grunted in response. When the polite staff member returned with the bubble wrap, the rude lady was clearly irritated. There are several clues here for the manager to have a word to the rather rude staff member (I think her name started with a J). Maybe she's just having a bad day? Maybe she's being micromanaged? Regardless, everyone should be treated respectfully and with good customer service, unless of course they themselves are impolite! Read moreThis review is for the online customer service team. I purchased a set of Swiss Diamond non stick pans a little over a year ago. One pan has worked well however one has not stood the appropriate test of time. Both pans were used in the same way and cared for in the same way. This means one pan is faulty. When I took this to the customer service team I was asked to provide photos which I did. These photos were sent off to Swiss Diamond for assessment. The assessment came back stating they believe I have used harsh chemicals on the pan and not cared for it. When I reported back to Kitchen Warehouse that this is not accurate as we are a harsh-chemical-free household I was then told by them I wasn't using strong enough chemicals. So which is it? Obviously Kitchen Warehouse and Swiss Diamond don't want to honour their warranties. Don't expect any of your purchases with warranties displayed to be warranted. Very...

The manager was on the computer at the counter and although knowing I was standing there, did not acknowledge my existence. When another store worker came to me, took between 3-5mins, I was asked if the manager was helping me. I replied ‘no she hasn’t acknowledged I am here ’, at which point she raised her head and said she was helping another client. As the shop manager she should be setting the example for her staff and acknowledging the customer and letting them know someone will be available soon.
