This place is great because it's in such a stunning location, right on the water. Positives are that the kids love it; there are toilets; parking is free and there's a lot of shade covering the park. Negatives are that there isn't a lot of parking and there's a limit of 2 hours; the park is good for holding attention for a reasonable amount of time but you won't be here half the day unless it's with friends and there's also not much adult stuff in walking distance (cafes or areas of interest).

Kesterton Park is a harbourside park that has vertical sandstone cliffs. This park has harbour views. The ferry wharf that services the lower north shore and city departs from here. There's a fully-fenced children's playground and a toilet located in this park. There's limited on-street parking located nearby. A gate at the northern end of the park leads into the Sub Base Platypus.

Kesterton Park is newly renovated with a play area for kids and a workout station for parents. The workout station is strategically places so parents can keep an eye on the kids while working out. Beautiful water view surround the park. The park is an easy access to the ferries via north Sydney wharf.

During April 2018 this park is having a complete major make over . Everything has been dug up and renewed as a part of the Platypus Submarine base development scheme. An amazing ramp bridge runs from the park over the water to the Platypus entertainment grounds where there are restaurants , cafes and gallerys .

A nice grassy park for a family picnic . With world class views of both Sydney Harbour and Neutral Bay. Bring a picnic hamper and a fishing rod. There is also a childrens' play ground & toilets. You will love it.

Car parking is extremely limited hence catch a ferry from Circular Quay to Kesterton park . (Catch the ferry from Circular Quay's number 4 wharf . Ferries arrive and depart North Sydney Wharf every 30 minutes eg 12.35 ,...

Swings were amazing! Great range of 4 different types. They weren't squeaky and they are high enough so that you don't hit your feet if your not careful on the normal one. Great range of equipment for all ages. The talking pipes worked amazingly, clear even with whispers. It looks like a great place for floor is lava or lava monster. Everything spun well. Lots of seating. The big slide was a bit dirty but other than that...
