I had the opportunity to visit Sydney with a friend just to satisfy our craving for Filipino food, specifically in Rooty Hill. On our way to Mix Mix Co., we messaged them on Instagram as their Google hours showed they were closed, but thankfully, a staff member confirmed they were open.

We both ordered the classic Filipino taho, and I paired mine with their ube cheese pie. The taho was a true standout—beautifully layered with silky soft tofu, golden caramel-like arnibal, and chewy sago pearls. It was sweet, smooth, and comforting, instantly reminding me of home. The balance of flavor and texture was spot on, delivering an authentic and nostalgic experience in every sip.

Unfortunately, the ube cheese pie didn’t live up to expectations. While the packaging was eye-catching, the taste was disappointing. The ube filling lacked the sweet, rich flavor you’d typically expect, and the salty cheese was far too overpowering. To make matters worse, the crust was also noticeably salty, resulting in a dessert that tasted more savory than sweet. It threw off the balance, making the overall experience underwhelming. While I would return for the taho alone, I’d likely skip the...

Mix Mix Co is truly my favourite dessert place. I've been going to them ever since they were just a food truck at Parklea. Their desserts have consistently impressed me with their quality and taste.

Their halo halo is the best with its perfectly creamy soft serve and the classic topping thay work so perfectly together! I also love their taho. It's a comforting and familiar taste that brings back fond childhood memories.

The Mix Mix Co team is friendly and efficient. They always make us feel welcome and ensure my experience is top-notch. They really love what they do! If you're looking for a taste of the Philippines or simply crave a delicious dessert, I highly recommend giving Mix...

5 stars. I am from USA visiting my cousins here in Rooty Hill for 10 days. With those 10 days we so far have visited 3x. I had the gulaman, halo halo and choc scramble. My family tried the taho, Ube soy, pandan drink. My daughter loves their choco scramble. So so good and brought back my childhood memories back in Phillipines. I highly recommend this place and at least try every item on the menu. I have 2 days left here in Australia and I'm going to try and get more. The service is always excellent. The owners and staff are always friendly. The cute little place has a great atmosphere with its cool interior design. Great for Instagram photo ops! Get...
