I recently visited Hotel Rose Bay and I am absolutely thrilled with the experience! This iconic local pub offers the perfect blend of relaxed charm, fantastic food, and an inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for a casual spot to grab a drink with friends or a place to enjoy a delicious meal, Hotel Rose Bay is the perfect destination.
From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming vibe. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The pub itself has a lovely, cozy interior with a great balance of modern touches and classic pub decor. There’s also a spacious outdoor area, perfect for enjoying a drink while soaking up the sunny weather and views of the bay.
The food is absolutely top-notch! I had the fish and chips, which was fresh, crispy, and perfectly cooked. The portion size was generous, and the accompanying sides complemented the dish wonderfully. The menu offers a great variety of options, from pub classics to more contemporary dishes, so there’s something for everyone. The drinks list is also fantastic, with a great selection of local beers, wines, and cocktails. I highly recommend trying their signature cocktails – they are expertly crafted and incredibly refreshing.
One of the best features of Hotel Rose Bay is its laid-back yet vibrant atmosphere. It’s a place where you can easily relax with friends or enjoy a quiet meal with a view. The live music nights are a nice touch, adding to the overall experience. The pub is clearly well-loved by locals, and it’s easy to see why – everything from the food to the service is consistently excellent.
If you’re in the Rose Bay area or just looking for a great spot to unwind, Hotel Rose Bay is a must-visit. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend! Five stars...
Read moreYesterday (12/09/24) around 7 pm, during our visit with my partner, we encountered a bartender who was not only unprofessional but also extremely rude. To give context, English is not my first language but I feel very confident when speaking, but unfortunately this bartender made us feel out of place and discriminated. Despite our attempts to communicate with him, he seemed frustrated and impatient, which led to a highly uncomfortable experience, as if our difficulty to understand him was a significant inconvenience. When I asked for his name and requested to speak with the manager to address the issue, he claimed to be the manager and refused to provide his name. Additionally, he instructed the waiters not to disclose his name. Apparently his name is Joey (I’m not sure if it’s spelled properly). I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all, I doubt I will be ever going again, because I don’t want to put myself in that situation one more time. Is it Rose Bay Hotel Racist? I couldn’t sleep at night thinking of how a person with lack of tolerance, patience and racist can be a manager, it’s...
Read moreWe had our dinner earlier today at 630pm 21st of april, we came in as group of 9 we agreed to be seated on two seperate tables as they cant offer us a bigger table. We placed an order at the same time but only half the tables got their food, we waited 16mins and decided to follow up on our orders to manager on duty( a tall bearded man) rudely approached us and said that we only waited 16minutes, which is the threshold For the steaks, condescendingly asked if we ever had steaks before in our lives. And he said that they do not pre-cook steaks, The comment was extremely rude and disrespectful, the worst thing is he was not even apologetic about the situation. I expected more from a manager, by far the most humiliating experience I encountered...I also felt that somehow he was being racially profiling us. As he was being very kind to other customers.. I hope that the management addresses this issue with utmost urgency.
Wont be coming back to this...
