Seymour Shaw Park — Attraction in Sydney

Wonderful park and setting,first-time I have been there to attend the Dawn Service. A wonderful spot for holding such an event. Parking, oval and sports facility, playground , toilets, dogs in leash.

A great spot to play or run and do circuits, bring the children to play ball or run around and burn off energy, not far from Miranda shopping, local shops. Or even to walk and just take time out.🌿

Seymour Shaw Park is a quite large park area, plenty of room for kids sports on the weekend and great for a walk on your own throughout the week. Childrens play equipment park area for the kids to play on and public toilets nearby if needed. Not a long walk away from Miranda Fair and a short walk across the road to coffee and food makes Seymour Shaw Park a great kids sporting event Park and a nice walk whenever you want some time alone or get the dog out for a run. It's a great park, good size & well maintained, especially the newly built skate park. There's a couple of issues though, (1) some owner simply don't have their dogs on leash and don't feel that's a need even if you reach out (the council website clearly stated that it's an requirement (2) some older kids there are really rough with their skate board, even around really young kids like 4-6yrs old.
