Turbo Climb — Attraction in Sydney

Had my daughter's birthday party here. The Turbo Climb experience itself was fine and the young girls who were the party host and helper were absolutely lovely, polite and professional. However, the way the catering was done was absolutely appalling. The state of the table was disgusting - it was sticky and dirty and the mums had to use wipes to clean it and they came out black. The table was only set for 10 kids when I had booked for 12 so the mums also had to move and clean tables for their kids.The kids had to wait ages for their food who were all hungry after the activity. I had to serve the food as the host was trying to work out what was happening in the kitchen. The host explained that there were four other parties on which is why they couldn't bring out the food. The food platters for the adults were only brought out towards the end of the party when all the kids were waiting for cake. The manager was very aware of the issues but offered no resolution. He said there was no rush and we could stay in the room. Then he came back in and told us we all had to leave the party room as another party was starting. Some of the kids were still eating cake. Great place for active kids.

Pros: climbing obsticles vary and there is a good selection, suitable for different age groups. Deosnt just have wall climbing also has different styles which can help kids gain confidence with heights. Only small groups at a time so its not overly crowded. The supervising staff was great and provided assistance is a friendly manner.

Cons: One lady at the booking counter was quite rude (assuming because she is dealing with screaming kids all around her all day due to monkey mania being in the same location). I called in advance to book our session, was not told to arrrive 15 minutes earlier and had to wait another hour for the next session (luckily it was not booked out or i would have had to wait longer). Price is fairly steep $18 compared to other rock climbing centers.

Suggestions: Be there 15 minutes earlier than session time!!! Dont buy food and drink before as its not allowed in the climbing space. Make sure to listen to the supervisors instructions at the beggining of the session. As always, call in advance to book a...

Poor service by staff on the day that my guests complained about how they were spoken to. Management not flexible with working with you on the day even though we were the only party booked for the day. We were meant to be booked into Turbo Climb room but we were moved into Monkey Mania room due to another activity being setup in Turbo Climb party room. When staff called to confirm booking they kept getting the details of the party wrong such as day and time of the party booking. Staff made big issue in front of my guests about cake and balloons with reasons that simply made no sense especially since it is a kids birthday party.
