Worth every penny!!! I wanted to do some astrophotography at Uluru but I was traveling alone and was scared to venture off in the dark by myself. This was the best option for me and then some. I did get to set up my tripod and take some photos. The guides were more than happy to let me do that and show me the spots that would get me good shots. But it was my first time doing astro and it could have gone wrong. And I still got a token picture out of this tour because a professional photo of you and Uluru and the stars is included in every ticket. And it was a beautiful picture (not posted). The picture I posted was not even part of the ones I took with my camera, it was just with my phone. The stars look awesome! Would recommend timing your tour to when the moon is not around though. But the best part was also getting to hear the stories about the constellation both based on western and indigenous mythology. And also hearing the science of it and getting to use the telescope. They are the only ones that can come inside to the national park at night. So really highly recommend them because you get the best of both worlds. You get to do your shooting but get a guaranteed photo of yourself for memory and keeps AND all the info and stories! The guides really know their stuff! Highly highly...
Read moreIf someone told me that my most memorable and cherished moment of my bucket list trip to Uluru will be a stargazing tour I wouldn’t believe it but it was truly magical. From the moment I was picked up by an ultra luxury bus I had a feeling this will be special but I could not even anticipate what was coming. After a short drive we stopped at a parking lot near Uluru where the team was waiting with lanterns & guiding lights, telescopes set up, chairs for everyone and a MIND-BLOWING sky where you could see galaxies and shooting stars right above the outline of Uluru with a naked eye. Truly special! We sat down and the tour guide Ola with her suiting voice told us stories while we stared at the beautiful night sky. Then we had a chance to see Jupiter through the telescope and finally each of us got a professional picture that alone was worth every penny! The whole crew including Reina, Dan and the manager Steven were incredibly knowledgeable, nice, passionate about astrology and made the experience unforgettable. Definitely goes into my top 3...

I would highly recommend avoiding the Astro tour through Ayers Rock Resort. It was very short just one hour and in the resort where light pollution prevented you from seeing the full Milky Way. With my stargazing lust completely unsatisfied I rebooked through a Uluru Astro tour the next night. I would highly suggest going with Uluru Astro tours which offered a three hour tour, right in the heart of Uluru park and with professional photography. You would miss this if you book through Ayer’s Rock.
Mind blowing experience, finally got to see the Milky Way with my naked. It was such a surreal moment and to do this in front of Uluru is just magical. This was by far the best tour and experience at Uluru.
Thank you so much and for taking me on such short notice too and for answering my dozen phone calls over three days.
Thanks to Gordon the girl and the photographer for such an amazing. Thank you thank...
