Lovely and best view from Donau side. Medieval architecture and built between 1898-1910.

The construction of the church celebrated the 50th anniversary of the reign of Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria.[3] A competition was held to select the design and was won by architect Victor Luntz. The four-bay, basilica-like brick building was intended as a garrison church; designed in the Rhenish-Romanesque style, its three red-tiled towers are visible several kilometres away.

The church, which is directly situated near the Danube, is now home to the Vienna English Speaking Catholic Community (VESCC) who have held weekly masses at the church since moving there in 2009.[2]

The Mexikoplatz (Mexico Square), formerly known as Erzherzog-Karl-Platz (Archduke-Karl-Square), commemorates the fact that Mexico was the only country outside the Soviet Union to protest against the Anschluss of Austria to...

Just a mere 200 meters away from the Vorgartenstraße metro station, stands a captivatingly beautiful church that serves as a perfect subject for photography enthusiasts. Its stunning architecture and intricate details make it a sight worth capturing. For the best photo opportunity, head to the nearby children's park where you can capture the church in all its glory.

However, it's unfortunate to note that the park itself falls short of Vienna's usual standards of cleanliness and charm. Neglected and poorly maintained, the park's untidy condition is a disappointment. In fact, it has become a breeding ground for cleanliness issues, with rats even visible during daytime, scurrying across the walkways. It is essential for the city to address these concerns promptly and take measures to restore the park to its expected standard of...

This beautiful church was one of the highlights of my latest itinerary while in Vienna. It lies next to the Danube and beholds your eyes with it's beauty. If you've ever dreamt of seeing a real life princess castle, this is the closest thing to reality.

I love the architecture and design, reminiscent of ancient times, whilst being anchored in our contemporary time. The bright red roof and towers are visible from miles away and are just simply stunning.

I've took lots of photos here and I still think it wasn't enough. The pictures don't make it justice, as I highly recommend that you visit this church to see for yourself. We didn't go inside as it was closed during our outside visit, but I do think you can visit the premises...
