Unfriendly welcome, after telling we have a reservation, the staff started to argue with an older couple to finish and to give us the table, it was so uncomfortable! In approx. 2 minutes then we got the menu cards, after selecting the meal we ned to wait 15 minutes for a waitress to stop by and take the order. The ordered meal was coming in time, but it was a bit mixed up and looked like, the information we got at order was not correct. The ordered steak came without any sauce almost in its nature state, simple oven roasted meat - without a crust! After finishing the meal it took again like 10 minutes to take the dishes and took another 15 minutes to pay the bill (had to tell twice). The meal itself for a taste was mediocre, nothing special, maybe based on the look of the restaurant and pricing I would expect more. The chief waiter(or maybe owner) was kind and active, but the other members of the staff were looking really stressy and unfriendly. I would like to express my gratitude to the team of The View for hosting social dinner for the King's College London Faculty of Periodontology.

We organised it very efficiently via emails and always had prompt responses. They were very flexible, not requiring pre-booking deposit, allowing us to pay on the day. We also had an option to each order either 3 course dinner, or just a single course. This was much appreciated by guests with dietary restrictions.

We planned initially to have 35-40 guests and few days before event asked venue to prepare for 45, however we had a lot of people confirming last minute and ended up bringing 54, whom the venue kindly accommodated.

The menu was good with meat, fish and vegetarian options.

During the event, we realised that two guests had their birthdays. The restaurant team very kindly provided us with candles, so that we could sing "happy birthday".
