Dansing Chocola — Restaurant in Antwerp

Not my type of brasserie, but it was a nice experience nonetheless. The interior is very alternative and old-fashioned. The prices are on the higher end of the spectrum, but that's understandable as it's located in the "expensive South".

The staff was a mix of dry and friendly. Sadly, they couldn't hear or see me half the time, but it didn't ruin the visit.

I had a speculoos flavored latte and the Chocola burger. I asked for the meat to be rosé and oh boy was it rosé. Exquisitely juicy! The bun was soft but crunchy. The fillings were nicely balanced and fresh. I do have to say the burger was messy to eat and didn't fit in my mouth, but that's the standard inconvenience of ordering burgers I believe. I also ordered fries, which came with mayonnaise. They were so insanely good that I felt compelled to almost finish them all with a second serving of mayonnaise!

The bread they served was dense and crunchy too, so the bread game is on point at this establishment.

Walked by this tree covered terrace numerous times & finally got a chance to stop in to eat. It is a very charming environment with a limited menu of offerings. My salad was so gigantic that I couldn’t finish it. There are several nice vegetarian options on the menu. Service was friendly but not terribly attentive, which was fine since we were not in a hurry. It was very busy. The cava was the most affordable I’ve found in Antwerp. The interior of the restaurant is decorated with an eclectic array of cat cartoon statues & looney tunes figurines. Hemelse cheesecake bij Dancing Chocola!

Onlangs heb ik een heerlijke ervaring gehad bij Dancing Chocola en ik moet zeggen dat de cheesecake die ik daar heb gegeten absoluut verrukkelijk was! Samen met mijn date genoot ik van een heerlijke maaltijd, maar het was de cheesecake die mijn aandacht volledig opeiste.

De cheesecake bij Dancing Chocola was simpelweg hemels. Het was perfect gebakken met een zijdezachte textuur en een rijke, romige smaak die mijn smaakpapillen betoverde. Elke hap was een genot en ik kon gewoon niet genoeg krijgen van de heerlijke combinatie van de zachte kaasvulling en de kruimelige bodem. Het was een waar smaakfestijn dat mijn zintuigen betoverde.

Hoewel mijn aandacht vooral naar de cheesecake ging, moet ik ook vermelden dat de broodpudding bij Dancing Chocola ook voortreffelijk was. Het was heerlijk warm, zacht en vol van smaak. Samen met de cheesecake vormde het een perfect duo van zoete lekkernijen die onze maaltijd echt compleet maakten.

Naast het heerlijke eten wil ik ook de sfeer en service bij Dancing Chocola benadrukken. Het restaurant had een gezellige en gastvrije ambiance, perfect voor een romantische date. Het personeel was vriendelijk, attent en zorgde ervoor dat we ons zeer welkom voelden. Onze ervaring werd nog versterkt door de geweldige service die we ontvingen.

Kortom, Dancing Chocola is een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een heerlijke zoete traktatie. Hun cheesecake was onweerstaanbaar en ik zou zonder aarzelen teruggaan om er weer van te genieten.
