Parc d'Egmont - Egmont Park is situated between Rue aux Laines and Blvd de Waterloo and is open from 8am to 8pm daily. This public garden was originally part of the Egmont Palace in the 16th-century. The layout was altered and changed a few times over the centuries. What you see today is an English-style park and garden that was designed in 1902 with open green space surrounded by mature trees with a handful of monuments of Peter Pan and Prince Louis-Eugene de Ligne, walking path as well as a bistro with delightful outdoor seating. Overall, Egmont Park is a nice public park fairly close to Petit Sablon for those looking for green space and quiet leisure grounds in the area.

Don’t expect to have a long walk in the park itself: it’s rather small and I consider this more as a garden to sit and enjoy the view on the palace, and take a coffee. It’s an hidden park, difficult to find if you don’t know the entrance. And that’s the key characteristic: it’s rather cozy and intimate. But it might be less and less in the future...

Beautiful park, always clean. Ideal place to go to for a walk with your dog (a lot of doggie owners come there to meet). Outside the park you'll see a sign that your dog has to be on his leash but the guards don't mind if your dog isn't attached. That way you can chill while your dog is running around with the other dogs, trust me, your dog will sleep well after a visit. Also an ideal place to have brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Good food, drinks and staff. And always drinking bowls filled with water...

I was at the Orangerie with a friend around noon on a warm and sunny day. The terrace was fully booked, just a couple of tables were free inside. Notwithstanding the pressure on the staff due to the high number of patrons, the service was quick and friendly. I took a 'Salade de falafel' which was excellent, as was my 'Cheese cake'. We had a very good time there, and I can really...
