The location is just perfect. A very appeasing setting by the park. Laid back atmosphere, earthy tones with the deep green clay like walls decor. La fabrique attracts you with its natural style textured decor but it will fail to make you want to come back with its food.

The food looks great but taste from bland to bad. As simple as that. You will sit and look at the waiter deliver food to the surrounding tables, drooling over the colors in the plate. Eggs royal, crispy chicken, pain perdu, it looks soooo good. This is why the let down is powerful. How can such pretty plates have such absent, bland, indistinguishable flavors is beyond me.

The avocado looks nice and limey green but the taste is unknown, the bun looks golden and glossy but the taste is absent, the chicken bun looks unlike chicken and I still haven't figured out what it tastes like...

There are no flavors to this food although it looks great and that is the disappointment.

The interior decorator of this place was skilled. The waiters and staff are laid back and that is cool for me. I don't like places where the waiters hover too much.

The cook...man...no offense. This food is too pretty to taste this bad.

The whole time I ate my food trying to find the positive aspects of it, beyond the look of it. I had to eat it because I paid for it too and it was edible, just not pleasurable in any aspect...

It's not even that it's not fresh, to me the cook is absolutely unskilled in the flavor and textures department.

In the end, this place sells you an Instagrammable setting but it's not giving "restaurant where they care about the actual taste of the food"

I will still go back for a coffee or a drink. I will never feel the need to eat there again...

The 2 stars for the food is for the effort of making...

Sadly, I can’t recommend this place AT ALL. Although the service is good and the location is nice, we had quite a bad time there. The food is NOT worth the prices!!! (Especially if you go on the weekend where everything is around 4€ more?!???) Firstly, their “brioche” that they serve the scrambled eggs on, was very hard and dry (on all 4 portions we ordered). The salmon on the eggs royal didn’t seem high quality. In general the food tastes bland and boring and is not worth spending those amounts of money on. The drinks were alright. The juices seemed fresh. However, their iced chai was an absolute catastrophe as it tasted like literally nothing. I kindly asked if there could be some syrup added to it, which the server did, but that didn’t help either. That is not a drink that you can confidently serve to your customers and have them pay 6,50€. We were looking forward to a nice breakfast in a beautiful spot and were disappointed again and again. Usually we’re very forgiving guests and understand that mistakes happen, etc. but we even talked to the manager about our issues when he waited our table but he didn’t really seem to care. I don’t think this place is about giving you a nice breakfast sandwich experience, but about aesthetics, posting and making money.

Please look for cheaper,...

Update: I came back today for my birthday to have morning coffee and cake. I had very short timeframe of 40 min. Firstly we were asked to wait for the lady to give us a table even though most of the tables were empty. She came after 5 min and talking still on phone. After she finished the talk without even apologising that we had to wait her she asked if we are for lunch. When I said probably not she wanted to squeeze us between two tables which didn't seem safe place to seat because of Covid. I kindly asked if we can seat on the other side that was completely empty explaining that we are in a hurry and we will stay around 40 min. She said all of the tables there were planned for lunch. Hardly to believe that the restaurant would manage to have so many guests in 40 min. What a pity to be disappointed. Due to such an unpleasant experience I will never come back. Your stars go from five to two. The owners should put more attention to these kind of issues.

Great hidden place to escape in summer. Five stars for the relaxed vibe. The virgin pinacolada is must and the coffee and cakes are also tasty. It has become one of our favourite places in Brussels. Pity it doesn't...

La Fabrique en Ville in Brussels is a charming spot that we love for its delightful atmosphere and exceptional service. Nestled in a beautiful location, it offers a cozy and inviting setting, perfect for an occasional brunch. The ambiance is lovely, enhanced by thoughtful touches like blankets provided by the attentive and caring staff when it's chilly outside. The staff's warmth and hospitality truly stand out, making each visit a pleasant experience. They ensure you feel well taken care of, contributing significantly to the overall enjoyment of the place. However, La Fabrique en Ville does come with a notable downside: the prices. The cost is quite high relative to the quality of the food and the portion sizes. While the dishes are enjoyable, they do not always justify the premium pricing, and the portions can be disappointingly small. Despite this, the overall experience, bolstered by the friendly service and lovely ambiance, makes La Fabrique en Ville a worthwhile destination for a special brunch outing. Just be prepared for a higher bill and smaller servings.
